In Cold Blood, it is a wonderful book. If you read like I do and can image everything that is gong on at the time reading, you have to have a good stomach and head to read the book. If you have seen the movie then you are all set and no suprises. I think everyone should read this book, it is well written and I couldn't put the book from start to finish.Hope all is well.
Nope. I have a book on acting called The Intent to Live, by someone named Larry Moss. Haven't read it yet. Why are most books on acting by actors you never heard of? I am reading The Book of William, on the history of the First Folio. Interesting. If it hadn't been for Heminge and Condell, two of Shakespeare's acting colleagues, who arranged the printing of the First Folio, we wouldn't have half of his plays, including some of the best. They would have disappeared, like Cardenio and Loves Labors Wonne. These guys are real heroes of English Lit.
I like True and False... to an extent. He is very opinionated, but I do agree with most of what he says. : ) I am also an actor (kind of), and I haven't had formal training either. However, I have yet to go to college. . .
Hi Dosha,Glad it was helpful - sometime I ramble, esp. about books :-) I hope you like Passage. If you do, I think she's got a new book coming out soon!
Me toooo! The stream of consciousness near the end was brutal...
OK, I'm here. BTW, did you know Harold Hector? Wonderful actor. We were in a couple of Shakespeare plays together. I lost track of him, and could not find him. Just read his obit in the Globe. Bummer.
I have read How Stella Got her Groove back.
Hi Dosha,This looks like fun! I'm starting to add books to my shelf - will have to add Tarzan now...
