I am so glad you said that! I keep telling my friends in one of my groups that I think its Barrons, one thinks its Christian, one thought it was her sister... It is a male because of the way he marked his territory around here...and at the end of the book when she said she truly had lost everything now...come on its JZB.

    The Ancient One says

Meaning can only be understood in relation to its environment. Therefore, the words only make full sense in context... There are no absolutes, there is no meaning without relationships, everything is not only interacting but interdependent. The kahunas use this idea to help give a person a powerfully secure sense of significance, while at the same time teaching him that to heal himself is to heal the world, and to heal the world is to heal himself. This is not a loss of individuality, but an understanding that individuality itself is a relationship with the environment.

Oh good! I am so glad you are liking it. I can't wait to read the other books in the series. I am really interested in his brother the painter that is already married. (I can't remember his name) If you like historical romance, I would also recommend Lisa Kleypas. She is one of my favorites. Pretty much all of her books are good, but she does have a couple of series. The first book in her wallflower series is Secrets of a Summer Night. That one is pretty good and a good example of her writing style.

Hey, I just notice you have a 7 yo daughter. My daughter is 7 too. I also have a 2 yo son. I took them trick-or-treating on halloween. My son was superman and my daughter was a frog. I know... a frog? LOL, she designed her own costume. She really likes animals.

Hey Loupe, I though of another series you might like to read. It is Women of the Otherworld, by Kelley Armstrong. She writes urban fantasy. The first book in the series is Bitten. It is written in first person by Elena, a werewolf. The second book is Stolen, and it isn't as good as Bitten, but keep going with the series, I think they keep getting better and better. If you like I wrote a post about the series and you can check it out at this link: http://romancerookie.blogspot.com/2008/10/series-sunday.html It has a listing of the books in reading order and links to reviews, when I wrote them.

Hi Loupe!! I know what you mean about Moning's Fever series. I am practically obsessed! I love Mac's adventure. I can't wait for Shadowfever to come out. I was looking through the books you have read and a lot of the books I would mention to tie you over you have already read, LOL! Kresley Cole, Patricia Briggs, Charlane Harris, JR Ward and Jeanette Frost to name a few. Have you read Kelley Armstrong's Women of the Underworld series? They are really good. Another of my favorite series. The first one is Bitten and it is narrated by a female werewolf.

I would also recommend a straight fantasy series The Black Jewels by Anne Bishop. It is pretty good, but it is not urban fantasy and nor is it straight romance, but it is an interesting story. Daughter of the Blood is the first book.

Then I might as well mention one of my all time favorite books, Outlander. This one aught to keep you busy as it is like 1000 pages long! It is a time-travel and it is sooooooo gooooood. Claire and Jamie's story is so passionate.

I'm so happy you are giving Pleasure Bound a second shot because truly the books keep getting better especially the third one, which is my favorite so far...I can't wait to hear what you think about it. I always recommend to give a series a chance not only with Book One but with Book Two. :-)
