Hi Lupdilup! I just read a fantastic book "When Beauty Tamed the Beast" by Eloisa James. I thought I would mention it and give you the heads up. I wonderful historical romance with the Beauty and the Beast theme, but done really, really good. If you have enjoyed my other recomendations, I think you will like this one too. Good stuff!! I haven't reviewed it yet, but soon I will get to it. I am a little behind in my review, LOL!!

Thanks for the friend request. I do love to read romance with Susan Elizabeth Phillips and Lisa Kleypas a couple of my favorites. The paranormal I prefer are the humorous ones such as Lynsay Sands and Kerrelyn Sparks.

    Hi Loupe!
I love J.D. Robb's In Death series! I have the audio versions & they are so good, I just love hearing Roarke's sexy Irish lilt. I haven't read any of the Magic series, they're on my TBR list. Glad to hear you liked it... I haven't read any Ilona Andrews yet.

Lisa K. is one of my favorite authors & I plan on eventually reading all of her books. So far I've read the Vallerands, Gamblers, Capitol Theatre, Bow Street Runners, Wallflowers, Hathaways & Friday Harbor series. In the stand alones I've read "Suddenly You".

I did finish Shadowfever, what a roller-coaster ride... so many ups, downs, twists & turns, it was awesome!

I love Ian! I also read Lady Isabella's Scandalous Marriage, but didn't love it as much as the 1st book. Can't wait for Cameron's story (The Many Sins of Lord Cameron), it's due out in August!

lol! Yeah, if Barrons is truly dead, I'm going to have to resist the urge to throw my Kindle at something. Wouldn't want to damage it; better to kick some furniture instead. ;)

I've enjoyed the Fever series, too! I felt like it got off to a bit of a rough start--mostly because I thought Mac's characterization as a vapid, shallow, pastel-obsessed woman was overdone to the point that if a friend hadn't convinced me the books get better, I might have given up at that point. Moning's really good at hooking you with her world-building and with unanswered questions, even if her cliffhangers are of the "completely evil" variety, lol. I was gobsmacked by the cliffhanger at the end of Dreamfever, and I only finished it this month, knowing Book 5 would come out next month!

I've been talking about the series with a couple of friends, and we all seem pretty convinced that the beast was in fact Barrons, but he's not really dead (though Mac will *think* he is, perhaps for a good chunk of the final book). We're really just speculating, though. What do you think?

Hi Loupe! I am glad we have such similar tastes! Thanks for the nice complement :) I just finished writing my review for Wicked Intentions tonight. I then went and emailed Elizabeth Hoyt. I told her how much I enjoyed her book and asked her if Silence (a character in Wicked Intentions) will get her own book. I hope she emails me back!

Hi Loupe, I just saw your comments on the fever series group... I just finished Dreamfever last night and I almost lost it!!!
that was the strongest cliffhanger I have ever read!!!! I too dont think it was christian, she made it seem too intense at the very end that I am afraid its actually Barrons...
uugh waiting is the worst part!
Shadowfever comes out at the end of the year right?

Hey Loupe! I lucked out. My library had Definitely Dead on audio that I could download to my iPod. I listened to it and I found it nice in the car and laying in bed at night. I think I could get used to audio books. I have already read the Karen Marie Moning books. I am a big fan of hers, same with JR Ward. My library also has Dead and Unwed by Mary Janice Davidson, so I am going to give that one a try and see how I like it.
