Go-to book: Count of Monte Cristo. Currently, I own 3 copies, because I'm constantly misplacing them or packing them up and then wanting to read it. To date, I've donated 3 copies to Goodwill.

I have to say that some of the books on my shelves are there because they are meaningful in some way (Ladies of Missalonghi was the first book I read that had s-e-x in it; Roberto the Insect Architect is about an architect, etc...) « less
