    I know! I love how Sean was just a steady force and knew just what everyone needed. I love that he whispered to the horses. And one of my favorite parts was when Puck whispered to him!!

    I don't think the story would have been the same (I might not love it as much) without Finn. Loved it when he was worried about her and he cleaned the whole house to keep from going crazy.....and I loved that he bet too.....awesome!!

    I agree about Gabriel. I wanted to punch him in the beginning, but then I started to understand his plan. And he really did love Puck and Finn! I liked how he tried to demand that they give her the colors. I also loved that Peg gave her her costume to use for her colors.

    And you are right, I could not have predicted what was going to happen - those are the best books! Stiefvater is such a good writer. I did enjoy the wolves series, it was a different and new take on wolves and there was enough other stuff and other characters that I didn't feel like it was just a sappy romance. I also don't remember noting any particular brilliance in the writing in those books. I still haven't read the other books you mentioned, but I'm definitely going to check them out.

    I really do hope you get the job at the library!

    I'm so glad you inspired me to read Scorpio RaCES - I loved it! I had ordered it from Amazon after reading the Wolves of Mercy Falls, but I kept reading other stuff instead of that. I liked the Mercy Falls series, but loved SR so much better! I love Sean and Puck - I love Finn and how vulnerable he was, but strong too. He pushed his mattress in Puck's room to be near her, then he risked all their $ betting on his sister to win! Loved how the writing made a horse lover out of me and I'm not an animal person at all (allergies - aaaachoooo!)...lol!

    Ahh!! I saw that earlier and was wondering what happened to it. Well, we just started up Labyrinth and Blood Red Road so maybe we should wait just a little bit but I definetly think that we need to re-start it sometime in the near future. And i'm sure that between you, me and kori, we'll be able to remember what the main plot was that we were working with. I know that I can remember bits and pecies of it, but not all of it.
