Enjoy your Christmas. My sis and I envy Christmas celebrations. You guys have a lotta fun, exchange gifts and on the whole December will be the perfect festive season, right? I feel that the snow makes it all the more prettier. I've never seen snowfall in my life. I've seen snow though, when I went to Gurudongmar. It was May when we went there. So, there was no snowfall!!! :(

    Hi Kat,
Thanks a lot.. :) and enjoy the rain. I'm having holidays from December 21 to January 6. Planning to have a fun time. :) I told you already that i feel the same about the twilight movies. So you are not weird. I'm not expecting too much from the movie. I'm just gonna watch it for fun. Hunger games and Catching fire are not available here. :( If I come across the books somewhere i'll definitely get my hands on it. Earlier I sent you some private messages remember? My yahoo id will be displayed in the mails you've received. If you have a yahoo id and yahoo messenger. send me an invitation so that we can chat sometime in yahoo messenger. :)

    Hi Kat,
How're you doing?? I had a hectic schedule last week in college. It was the first week, so had lots to do. I've been made the student editor of my college magazine.. :) :) I'm soooooooo happy. :) I'm having a quiz competition on Monday. I heard that we will be awarded money for every right answer. New moon is releasing next Friday here. I and my friends are planning to go to the movie, not on Friday though. Whats up there??

Definitely it is very expensive. I'm still in the learning process. I don't earn!! So, for now, it is impossible!! Someday it'll happen and I'll wait for that day. If i take a train, the journey will be terrible. it is not 'a train' its a few 'trains'!! Btw.. did you go all alone??? when did you go??

I love Sidney Sheldon's books. The story will be very fast moving. It'll keep you at the edge of your seat. Once you start reading the book, you just can't keep it down. Of course, there'll definitely be some adult content in every book of his. If you just ignore that, the books are promising. Try 'Are you afraid of the dark', 'doomsday conspiracy','The sky is falling'. They are my favorites.

And I wanted to ask you this. How was Europe? You've been to some places there right? Europe is my dream destination!!! Hope the dream comes true. :)

Hi Kat, I'm not going!!! We went to the railway station yesterday. Till the last minute our tickets were not confirmed. Here, we have to do the ticket booking in advance. Ours were in the waiting list. We thought it would get confirmed. But it didn't. So, came back home. :)

We tried for the roadways too. We inquired whether tickets were available in the buses which go to that place. No available seats. There are two reasons. It is weekend and a lot of people will be travelling. Other reason is that today is Bakrid - it is a festival for the muslims. So, lot of people who are working in Chennai will be going to their homes. So, all modes of transportation are running full!!!

I'm a bit disappointed because I wanted to see my granny very badly. But, everything that happens, happens for good. My cousin sis who is 9 years old suffered a severe pain in the ear last night after we came home. We could give her the necessary medication since we were home. If we had travelled, she would have suffered a lot. Thank God, we didn't!!!

Hey.. I didn't say I feel terrible because of your review. I expected too much about the movie and I have a fear that I would be disappointed. So, you don't have to ask sorry!! :)

I feel exactly the same about the Harry Potter movies. In fact, I'm a crazy HP fan first. Twilight comes only next to HP. The first two movies were good. The third one was very disappointing. The fourth one was just OK. The fifth one - I didn't like it. The sixth was again OK!! I agree with the fact that they have to skip some parts of the book, because they have only two and a half hours to make the entire book into a film. But, what they do is, they add totally unimportant scenes to the movie and skip the very important parts from the book!! For instance, if you've seen the sixth movie, romance was give the first priority, Voldemort's past wasn't pictured properly, and suddenly, without a clue, the burrow is burning!!! Ha Ha.. I was literally laughing when I saw the scene.

I'm starting to Madurai tonight. I'll definitely tell you my views on the book once I finish it off. :) I'm going to miss you... :( take care. Au revoir.

Hey... Thats bad. How did it happen? How're you doing now?? Take care. Don't strain too much. I shouldn't say too much to a massage therapist!!! ;)

Your picture is nice too. It seems that you are crazy about cats!!

Reading your review I feel terrible :( Anyways, I'm gonna muster up some courage and go watch the movie(on Dec 4th hopefully!) I'm sad that they spoiled your favourite book!!! Alice is always great and thats why I like her soooooo much!!!! :)

And about soap operas in India!! Of course we have it here. People(especially ladies) are glued to the soaps. God help them!! i don't like soaps...

And i didn't read 'The Negotiator'. The first few pages were very boring. I lost patience and returned the book back to the library. I've got 'The City of Bones' by Micheal Connelly. Hope its good.

I'm leaving to Madurai tomorrow and I can't come online for three days. Will be back only by Nov 30. :( :( So, shall we finally start our group activities and promotion from December?

My exams are over.. :) I've a set of discussions on mind
    1.Favourite place on Earth
    2.favourite cuisine
3.What do you like about the place you live in?
    4.Who is your role model?
    5.Fav Actors
these are the basic things I thought about. I'll tell you when I get more ideas. We can post the Discussions in an attractive way, not as direct questions, so that people will be interested. Tell me your ideas Kat. Btw.. When are you going to watch New Moon. I'm waiting for your review.

Thank God that I get along well with my family. While majority of families in India are tightly knit, nuclear families have begun to emerge here too. So, I am blessed with my family... :)

And Wow!!! You go Hiking!!! :) I've never hiked in my life till now. :( I want to hike, trek and do many adventurous activities before I die!!! Chennai is one of the metropolitan cities of India. So, it is packed with people too. But, one thing i love about being here is we have the 'Marina Beach' here. its the second longest beach in the world. The beach is just an hour from my place and I love beaches. So, I go there sometimes.

Hi yaar! (yaar means friend in Hindi)

I'm also glad that you're back home. :) And WOW... You got your license and the job you like. Yaaaaay!! You've to give me a big treat or throw a party sometime for your new job. :) ;)

I've not read evermore. I'll tell you about my book after I finish reading. And I'm waiting for your comments about new moon.. :)

I'm sorry about your trip. There will be problems and difficult times for every family. But its just like a passing cloud. So, don't think your family is weirder and all. I'm sure that things will be perfectly all right for you in sometime. So, ENJOY your christmas with your dad.. :)

About my family... In India most (90% i hope) of the families are tightly knit and big. My mom has two sisters and a brother. Both my aunts are living nearby my place (just 15 mins from my place). So, I have a fun time with them and their children(my cousins) always. I prefer hanging out with my big family rather than my friends. My mom's brother is in Sikkim, India(its in the Kanchenjunga peak of himalayas). I've been there and I love that place. Till now thats my favourite place on earth. My sis (poornima) and one of my cousins (Aishwarya - we call her Aishu) are my best friends. Aishu is just a year older than me. Aishu and I have great plans for my small break. :) What about your family and friends? what's your everyday schedule?

Wow thats great.. :) Jai ho!! A.R.Rahman's songs are really really good. And I love Beyonce's voice too. And one SHOCKING news for you.. "Twilight is releasing TODAY in India and New Moon will be releasing on December 4." I dunno whether its shocking for you. But it all (twilight release) happened without any clue that I'm still shocked.

I have only one exam left (tomorrow). So, I went to the library yesterday and got the book 'The Negotiator' by Frederick Forsyth, haven't started reading it yet.

The break after my exam is not 'long' at all!! :( Its just a week. My college reopens on 30th November itself. Here, the long break is usually during summer, i.e., April and May. I'll have the final exams of my next semester during March-April and after that I get a long break. But as I'm completing my under graduation next semester, I don't have time for relaxation. I've to take an entrance test for my next level of education, which till now I'm sure is going to be a PG diploma in Journalism. Hope I clear the test. Its for one college in particular - The Asian College of Journalism. Its the best college for pursuing Journalism in India and it is in Chennai (where I live). So, no celebrations for now. I'll be going to visit my grandma next weekend (27th) though. Thats my short break plan.

What about you? Christmas is just a month away. Any plans??

As I myself am a singer, I'm crazy about music. i don't hate any type of music, instead I would say I love this more and like that less. I listen to a lot of 'Hindi' (bollywood) songs. Bollywood movies feature songs in the film itself. i dunno whether you get me but you'll understand if you see a bollywood movie.

I don't keep up with the latest music and all because I actually dunno whats 'happening'! There are too many artists and bands that I really don't understand which is latest and which is old!! I've my own small collection of songs of my taste. I like Bryan Adams, the old 'ABBA', some songs of backstreet boys, Avril Lavigne, Britney Spears, Celine Dion, Linkin Park, David Archuleta, Rihanna, Beyonce to name a few.. Sometimes I just listen to songs randomly and if I like one song in particular I'll just stick on to it. I don't listen to punk either. Loud music certainly don't go good with me. I've not seen Garden State.
