    Hi satty:

Hyderabad, a beautiful city . . . I still fondly remember my early morning hike around KBR National Park in Jubilee Hills!

I have not read any of the books you listed below, but Iris Murdoch is one of my favorite authors . . . at least I very much liked "The Sea, The Sea;" however I could have been prejudiced by the novel's cover - - Titian's famous painting "Perseus and Andromeda." I am a sucker for books with cover art that is aptly referenced in the novel! I trust "The Book and the Brotherhood" will be equally powerful . . . please let me know what you think!

Hi satty: thank you for your Shelfari friendship request; I am honored to accept! I see we have quite a few books in common . . . I look forward to seeing what you are reading! May I ask where in India do you live? I have been to Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Pune - - and always enjoy visiting your country!
