    Thanks, Jenni. Yes, Jeff was a great encouragement, but he also refused to tell me only the nice things. He told me I needed to work on POV, on dialogue beats, and on narrative flow. That was in 1999. He suggested studying "Self-editing for Fiction Writers." I did so, and I never looked back.

    Hi Jenni! Thanks for the add. I loved the Little House series!!! I'm trying to share the love for those sweet childhood favorites with my little sisters... these days they know "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" which I'm sure is funny but the 'old' stuff is a real treasure.
    I started Nancy Drew after receiving a set of 5 from a friend and I've been hooked ever since. I miss those sweet days.

    I also noticed that you did NaNoWriMo, and so did I. I was introduced to it by my older brother, but have only done it once, though I really enjoyed doing it :D .
