I was looking at you shelf. I saw you enjoyed Robert B. Parker, so do I. My girlfriend and I took a road trip from NY to Miami. We only had Parkers books on audio. Got me hooked. I too hope he has lots of manuscripts that have not been published. Have you watched Jess Stone on TV? I was disappointed, much prefer his books.
Hey there! I saw your note the other day! Glad you are still finding time to enjoy reading! I have nearly forgotten how to read for enjoyment, but hope to make more time for it in the upcoming six weeks! :) Miss you!
Can't wait to hear what you think of the new Patterson! Are you still reading like crazy? I haven't read a book in for what feels like FOREVER! I've been SOOOOO busy! I started Eclipse over this weekend because I put it down several months ago and never picked it back up. 80 pages into it and don't want to stop; just so much to be done around the house this weekend!
150! That is VERY impressive!!! You can do it! FOUR HOURS on Universal Assessments? Is that the one CMS has you doing? If so, I'd love to share the grid I made with you. It took me 5 minutes to enter the results--no lie.
Enjoy it! I just finished #8 this morning, actually! Funny! Are you going to meet your 100 goal, or did you already!? Gotta love three day weekends! :)
Wow, Peggy! You are amazing! :) You can do it---read 4 children's books! Do those count toward your goal? :)
Thanks for the Laura Lippman recommendation. I'm liking Stephen J. Cannell; but I'm not up to starting to finish books 3-11 right now. Lol.
Bummer! I think it was purchased at Lakeshore. It was just a short little, adorable book. It made me laught out loud. There is NO such thing as having too many books checked out in the summer--or ever, for that matter! I'm reading a GREAT one right now called The Gift by Richard Paul Evans! Oh, it's so heart-warming! :) Of course, it's one of about five I'm reading, but that's how I roll!
You are so silly, Peggy! Unfortunately, I do not have a copy of that book, any longer. I have a terrible habit of reading and passing on right away. I'm not even sure who I gave it to, otherwise I'd track it down for you because it was hilarious. One of my students at Sterling gave it to me. :) If you're looking for something good, I would suggest 32 Third Graders and One Class Bunny by Phillip Done. HILARIOUS!!! He has a newer one out that I need to look for. I love him!
I see you've been reading lots lately! : ) I guess that stomach bug was good for something! Hope you are enjoying this beautiful day with a good book. I just finished a really good, quick one called Life on the Refridgerator Door. Really clever/loved the style.
Hey Peggy! I wish I had read this sooner, as I just sent it off to my sister-in-law. When we were in VA, she read the back of it and really wanted to read it so I sent it to her. She will save it for me though, so I will save it for you. It was REALLY good! One of my favorites! I hope you have an awesome weekend and that you get the time to read something FUN!
Thanks, Peggy! I am always looking for something new to try! :)
Hi Peggy! :) come on now...I know you read more than this! Get to posting, so I can get some new ideas of stuff to read! :) smiles,Renee
