you need to add the somnambulist and the chris farley show. There is no drug that numbs like the cathode ray tube/plasma screen.
I would read the first one. I think it's called A Great Deliverance. Then you can check them out on netflix and watch them from Masterpiece Mystery produced by the BBC.
