One of the perks of teaching school is an early retirement, and way more time to read. I lean toward historical fiction and suspence, but read a wide variety of genres except for an unexplained aversion to fantasy and English authors. I wandered somehow onto this site and find it to be a little bit of heaven. I love the wealth of suggested books which I've never read, peeking in on people's shelves, and finding friends to drag here with me. My favorite quote:
