Hello everyone,

First of all, I wish to tell you that English is not my mother tongue, which may account for weird turns of phrase sometimes !

I am French, a married 28-year-old woman who started reading in English a few years ago and has not stopped ever since. I worked for some time in an English bookshop in Paris and it has worsened things ! I have to admit that French authors are now really scarce on my reading list. It is quite difficult for me to find people who are in the same situation as me on French websites, and I think that maybe here I will be able to find out more about what comes out in English-speaking countries, which authors people talk about, etc., and to exchange impressions with other readers. I read mostly fiction and mysteries, and sometimes essays (particularly writers writing about their craft). I am also very fond of cinema and music (rock, trip hop, folk...).
