It has been very cold in the Neterlands, we had the coldest and longest winter ever (-20 degrees, snow, storm etc.) I'm very happy that it's march and although it's raining all the time, it's not that cold anymore and today we had some sunshine. 2 years ago I went in december to New Zealand and celebrated New Years Eve in Dunedin. Really nice place where you live.
Good luck with the book Midnight's children by Salman Rushdie, it's definitly not an easy read. I will be checking out BBC's top 100 books, maybe I find some good books for myself to read.
