I'm an avid reader, a manic blogger at http://thelostentwife.net, a programming student at DeVry Univ., caregiver to my niece (5) and nephew (7), Tai Chi loving, 34 year old woman. Whew, I'm tired just typing it.

I read quickly and always have - and writing reviews is my way of solidifying what I'd read by putting my thoughts down about it.

Actually it was my favorite out of the three Sarah Addison Allen books my friend let me borrow. She loves her books and highly recommended them to me. Funny thing is I had Sugar Queen on my list of books to read but not the others yet that one was the one I liked the least. Garden Spells was really good too but I didn't feel for the characters and have that connection to them that I felt when I read The Girl Who Chased the Moon. :)

I read you review for the book 'the help', and if I hadn't read what you wrote I don't think I would have been motivated enough to read it. It definitely lives up to the hype, it was an amazing book :-) And I will soon be reading mistborn, a friend recommended to me a while back, but then I saw it on your shelf and now I can't resist!

I just bought the book "The Name of this Book is Secret" at the thrift store for $0.59 cents!!! Thanks for adding the info on the gay couple. This helps me when making recommendations to our school library, a Christian school.
    Thanks~
