I have always enjoyed books, starting with Enid Blyton - Twins at Saint Clairs and the Mallory Towers series, Losing myself in the stories. I also enjoyed reading Agatha Christie books from a very young age and still enjoy dipping in to them! Nowadays I still enjoy thrillers... more »

Another gripping story about Annie Carter. A shame I am reading them out of order but never mind. I prefer these novels to Martin Coles, find them not quite as heavy going.

A brilliant book. I loved the characters and the story. The suspense was great. Finding out that Sue was Alex"s mum and that she was prepared to murder him was amazing!

I didnt like this book. I could have read War andPeace quicker and i am sure I would have found it more interesting. This book was too technical for a reader like me!

I found the beginning boring, the middle ok and the ending disappointing. I expected more oomph at the end! I havent watched the film as I dont like horror but is the film like the book!!!

Given to me by my daughter, I wasnt sure this book was for me. I was wrong, it was interesting and held my imagination. I fully expected Freddie to find his brother alive instead of accepting his death. I may even read the other Kate Mosse book my daughter gave me now as it has sat long enough on my book shelf!
