I enjoy historical fiction set in the 1930's and '40's, as well as books with settings in Africa, mysteries, and some science fiction. Dan Brown, Tony Hillerman, Michael Crichton, Alexander McCall-Smith, Barbara Kingsolver, and James Rollins are some of my favorite authors.
