    Hi Meredith, I also have an MEd in English-Education (1991) and a BA in English and Psychology (1976). Good luck. I've taught Vonnegut to emotionally troubled teenagers... they loved Breakfast of Champions. Currently, I teach English Comp at a technical college. While I have published stories, poems, articles, won contests and nominated for a Pushcart Prize, I've yet to publish my novel inspired by the writers like Vonnegut and Brautigan. An ebook novella "Cynthia and the Blue Cat's Last Meow" was influenced, I'm sure by Brautigan. At any rate, good luck with your teaching, reading, and writing. Jeff
