I love all kinds of books, especially humorous memoirs, memoirs of poverty and hardship, Stephen King, some of the classics (some are a bit dated or dry for my tastes), and any book that really makes me feel something. I'm not a book snob; I read for pleasure, not so that I can say "I read that book".

    Well, I think the fact that I'm on my 5th copy of it says it all; I buy extra paperback copies just to give away to anyone who hasn't read it yet. It's the End of the World, as brought about by an unknowing 10 yr old, his pet Hellhound beagle, the 4 horsemen as bikers, and an angel and demon so enamored of life here on Earth with good wine, fast cars and color TV they're doing their best to throw a wrench in it all, rounded out by a complete nitwit and very cranky witch desperately trying to make sense of it all. It's the Omen series as done by Monty Python.
