No, but I will add it to my shelf! Sounds right up my alley. I just finished listening to Rules of Civility and really liked it--it's not the most exciting story line but it is beautifully written. I'm on The Fiery Cross and it is a slog fest....but I've heard that the next one is better. I'm going to need a 12 step program to give up Jamie Fraser...
I liked Voyager better than Dragonfly in Amber. Some parts dragged a bit, so I just skimmed those. Oh Jamie....sigh. Never thought I'd have a crush on a man in a kilt. :) I started the 4th book last night....none of them are as good as the first....but I can't put them down.
The M.G. Cleopatra is REALLY thick (she writes a long book, that one)...so, even given your reading super powers, if you're stressed out, go w/ something shorter. When you have time, Mary Called Magdalene and Mary Queen of Scots by M.G. are both really good--I probably liked them better than Cleopatra. She goes really in depth with everything. I can't wait to hear about Shadow of the Wind--I am seriously Jonesing for Spain right now. I dream about sipping Rioja and eating fistfuls of manchego on a beach somewhere. :( I did read Clan of the Cave Bear, but it was soooo long ago (and I saw the crazy movie w/ Darryl Hannah!) only YOU would re-read the ENTIRE thing. :) Have fun with that.... Our book club is reading My Stroke of Insight....haven't started it yet, but it seems interesting. I'm also dying to read Mists of Avalon--have you read that???
I know, I haven't read The Keep yet....my friend's mom is a librarian and she loved it. Are you going to read the Margaret George Cleopatra or the other one? The M.G. is soooo long....good, but long. Did you read Mary Called Magdalene yet? (I think you have mine?!) That has been my favorite M.G. so far....
