Hi! Thanks for sending me the link to this website. :D
Wow, umm, regency is my favorite time period to read so my list could be very long but I'll try to give you only a few. Nicola Cornick, Elizabeth Rolls, Anne Herries and Annie Burrows, Deb Marlowe and Diane Gaston (hers have unconventional heroines but I believe still accurate to the time period, just women who were fortunate enough to be financially independent so if they caused a stir in the Ton they would still have a home, just not much of a social life) immediately come to mind. HH authors and their editors work hard with keeping things true to the time period. I know what you mean about some characters not fitting but I haven't come across that with HH's. Matter of fact, if you go to eHarlequin.com, there is a forum where the historical author gather and are often talking about their research.
Hi, I'm very happy to meet you and look forward to discussing books with you. If you ever have any questions about any of the titles on my shelves, please ask away. I'll be happy to answer them.
