If you mean new as in recently published, I don't know if I can help you because the only recently published books I know about are a couple in series, like the Leven Thumps series by Obert Skye, which I recommend if you haven't heard of it. They're rather silly fantasy books that take place in the land of dreams (called Foo.) As far as fantasy goes, I'd also recommend Tamora Pierce. Another one of my favorite authors is Robert Cormier, who writes dark, kind of creepy novels, often involving murders (not fantasy). I don't know if that's any help, but I hope so.Happy Reading :)
