Do, I recommend it! I'm gonna read Demon Box, his collection of short stories, sometime soon. I suspect I will like it a lot. Moby-Dick has also been surprisingly good, just to mention that.
Yes, it did. It wasn't as good as The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay, but then few books are. I think you'll enjoy it, but you'll have to let me know. How's One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest treating you?
It's interesting so far. I think you'll like it. I'm a good 100 pages in and the whole world Chabon's contrived is pretty amusing and fascinating. Is the Brothers Karamazov pretty good? I still think I'll read the Idiot before any thing else, but I am curious to know how you like it so far. I am well, also! I hope you are doing well, too!
Oh, a boy toy, eh? Sounds like fun to me! Things have been slow while I readjust my thinking and my attitude toward what I'm doing. Marriage still dicey and confusing as all get out! Hubs is confused, so I guess that is no surprise, eh?
Good, beautiful! Hope school is going well! JL and I are in marriage counseling. I started a new job and got elected to the Board of Trustees of my church. So many changes, so much new!! And I am growing a 160 square foot vegtabel garden and turning into an UrbanFarmer (UF), so when I'm excited I say "UF-da! Hiw is school, boyfriend, family, work...and everything else...?
Doing well darlin'...and you? Big hugs.
haven't done anything more than just sign in. you'll have to show me how to do more things.
Welcome to 1001 books. You can keep track of the books you have read from the book, 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die here and join in the discussions on the books we are reading for the month (from the book) or you can argue the merits of the list as some enjoy doing. We hope you will want to join in our discussions. The current books are at the top of the list for that month. If there is any way I or Mossflower can answer your questions about the group or about Shelfari, let us know.If you don’t own the book the list can be found http://www.listology.com/content_show.cfm?content_id=22845. A downloadable list of the second edition is available at http://johnandsheena.co.uk/books/?page_id=160.
