My book report review is on 'Lassie Come Home' by Eric Knight. Lassie is about a strong relationship between a boy and a dog. She would wait by the school gate until Young Joe would come out. While the debate between his parents, he was just waiting for the response to keep the dog. Lassie was sold to the Duke and moved to Scotland. Lassie Come Home was a great book! I looked foward to the end to see what would happen to Lassie at the end.

My review is on 'It's Kind of a Funny Story' by Ned Vizzini. It's about a guy named Craig that's mentally depressed. He almost kills himself but, decides to take himself to a mental hospital. The story ends with him wondering WHY he was always depressed. This book is REALLY detailed with what his life was like, being depressed and all. Ned seems like he really wants everyone to know what being depressed is like. It was so well written that i even got a little depressed. The plot was well thought out, and the settings seemed like he KNEW what a mental hospital looked like. Overall, i really enjoyed this book. I never wanted to put it down!

We hope you will want to join in our discussions. The current books are at the top of the list for that month.
