Hey Kim. I don't think I've read Queen of Swords...gonna have to go back and look :)... So cool that you're loving the series. Hope school is going good for you. Same ol' same ol' at mine. Catching up reading some older stuff that has been on my "to read" list for awhile when I have the chance. Happy reading...keep in touch!

Oh Kim, that is such a difficult question to answer.

I love so many authors. Before I started the Bloody Jack series, I became enamored of Karen Chance and her Cassandra Palmer and Dorina Basarab series. then when there were no more of those to read, I became hooked on Maria V. Snyder's Poison Study series. My favorite Sci-fi is Ender's Game. The Host by Stephanie Meyer is also a favorite, would that be considered Sci-fi or Romance or both? Favorite historical would be Pillars of the Earth and World Without End. Can you have this many favorites?

I go through 3 or 4 book per week by listening to audio books while I do house work and laundry and reading kindle books at night before going to sleep. Not all of them are great but most are worth remembering.

Kim I think you'll love the Into the Wilderness series. It's similar to Gabaldon's later books in the Outlander series. My favorite is Queen of Swords but you have to read through all of them to appreciate it. I am recently reading the Bloody Jack series, or I should say listening to them in audio. The narration by Katherine Kellgren is fantastic. Also similar to Ms. Gabaldon's and Ms. Donati's series at least in the setting if not necessarily the characters. You might enjoy that series as well.

Hey Kim...I am NOT cringing at how many days you've been back already. I am NOT thinking that today is Thursday and I go back to work in exactly one week from today. I day no kids...Friday kids. My hair hurts in sympathy to you. :)

Angel Blood took me a while to get "in" to....but definitely worth it. It was also my first every book I read by Nalini so it took me a while to get clear on the guild hunter world too. That may be it. But I have read it many times since and still LOVE it. Although I must say I like Archangel's Kiss even better...which is hard to admit...but it is SOOOOO good. You'll be definitely ready to dive right in to it after the first.

I haven't read anything by Diana Gabaldon that I know of. I will have to investigate it further. Sometimes I forget :) Not sure about Francine Rivers either. Thanks for the tips!

Hope your work load becomes less, uh...long??? I so know what you mean. I share your pain. Truly! I am definitely going to saturate myself with reading as much as possible between now and craziness time!

Hey Kim. Oh man, you made me think today...dangerous territory before school starts for me in a week and a half :) LOL...anyhoo...I really haven't read any JR Ward...can you believe that my local library doesn't have any of her books and very rarely do I buy unless it is an author or series I really love. Although it has been recommended to me many many times to read BDB. Gonna have to splurge :) I am definitely going to dig around on your shelf some more too :)
Okay...fav author (currently) is Nalini Singh...I have read a few of the psy-changeling series...but I am hooked on Angel's Blood/Archangel's Kiss...I assume it is/or is going to be a series...not sure I even looked on the book...but that is what is on the top of my list...I've read/re-read those 2 books a ton of time. LOVE IT. Oh, and if you like historicals (which I can take off and on...) I really like Shirl Henke...my favorite book of all time is White Apache's Woman...continued excitement with the heroine for a historical. I find that some of her first books in a series are awesome and then they dwindle. But I really have to be in a mood to handle the language and clothing issues to take on historical and (gasp) any story based around historical london....Do you have a favorite of all time besides what we've mentioned already???

it is one that I want to read. I am a fan of Nicholas Sparks.
When u want to put something on ur wish list click on the edit button and then on edition. From there u either add it to wish list or that u own it. This used to be much simpler then they changed the way that u add books to ur shelf.
    Thank U again
