..awe shucks. Yes, it's funny how one connects with another even though they haven't met them. The feeling is mutual. Although, that doesn't always turn out in a good way: Case in point--you know "Bella"? Also known as "Belza", I think?Anyway, we were friends then she goes off on me one day, very rude. I apologized for saying something I assumed she misunderstood and then she goes off on me again because of my apology! Wow. I was stunned, so I cut off all forms of communication w/her--here and on Facebook. It was weird because I was sincere in my apology. But oh well, life is tooshort for things like that. You know what I mean?
Thanks Rita, that is very nice of you. It has been a long and painful weekend, Not only did my friend die suddenly last week, her husband (who is a good friend) lost his brother on Saturday! I can't believe this.....so sad. He is really just too stunned toto react right now. He needs prayer more than ever. Me, I'm fine, just sad and tired. I do think it has caught up with me this morning because I feel physically ill. Just run down today. But, God is my strength & hope so I shall carry on. Thanks again for your concern. Yes life is too short to waste and it does make you realize what is important. God Bless
Rita, it's funny, you & i are sorta the opposites of each other when it comes to reading: I read very little TC & a lot of fiction and you read a lot of TC & a little fiction! LOL......but that's cool. I might go to my little used bookstore today and see if they have a copy of "Insomnia". Enjoy the reading journey.....
Hey Rita. You know, I read "Insomnia" when it first came out way back when. I remember liking it, but honestly, I don't remember it too much! I'm going to re-read it soon. I can get a cheap copy at a used book store. Wish I could tell you more...I should re-read anyway because these days I DO suffer from Insomnia! How's that for irony....

Hey!Jas
Oh I like it!. I just having a hard time reading it. It does have a lot of detail and extra stuff but it is a good book.
Rita:I haven't started Itsy Bitsy yet. It's by the author of Let the Right One In, which I loved, so I'm excited. I do read true crime; Harold Schecter is my favorite author in the genre. His "D" trilogy (Depraved, Deviant, Deranged) was excellent in generating suspense even though I was pretty familiar with the basics of each case. I haven't read Atlas yet, but it's on the list. The novel splits my friends down the middle; they either love or hate the novel. If you have any questions about the books on my shelf, let me know. Maybe I can recommed something.all the best...mark
Hi,Sorry I behind on my bookself and did not see your e-mail. I have not read Crmson Stain. But now that you mention it, I am going to put it on my reading list. Sorry again for the late response. I will try and do better.
Hey Rita! I had a great summer but very busy! I hope you had a good summer as well. I've been very busy at work mostly, which is why I haven't been on Shelfari for some time. But also fun stuff. I went camping a few times with my boyfriend and other friends. And then I had a really fun wedding that I attended. Then some family birthdays...it all just flew by! But now things are slowing back down which I'm kind of grateful for, you know? Gives me time to get back into reading, which I admit I neglected a bit during the summer. But that's alright. Seen any good movies lately?
Hi Rita,Yeah, I'm in the dictionary lol. Thanks so much for checking it out. I have a new kid's book coming soon too (my profile pic is the cover: ))
