Ray Bradbury is my favorite author. I love all sorts of books. Especially mystery/suspense and thrillers.

I'm definitely more of a Poirot fan. I also find the books that he is in more interesting. However, my favorite one doesn't have either of them in it. Have you ever read And Then There Were None? Definitely my favorite Agatha Christie book.

Hi, James! Thanks for the follow. I'm looking forward to discussing books with you. I don't read a lot nonfiction, but I do enjoy mystery/suspense and thrillers.

I am loving the book I'm reading now! I hope to finish it tomorrow. Have you already read (I haven't taken time to look too closely at your shelf yet) In the Woods by Tana French? I know a lot of people already have read it, and based on you enjoying mystery, I bet you'd like it. I will plan to read the others that she's written as well.

James, "The Shadow of the Wind" and "The Angel's Game" by Carlos Ruiz Zafon are both "books about books" stories and I loved them. Enjoy and READ ON...

I used to read a ton of Stephen King years ago. He started becoming too predictable to me and I lost interest. I never got around to his dark tower series though. Im really bummed that Anne Rice went all religious. I miss her vampires, witches and taltos. What is your favorite Bradbury book?

Working on a collection of Robert Louis Stevenson right now- on my shelf- and also re-reading Conversations with God, my "bible". What are you reading? Almost done with the RLS book, haven't decided what to tackle next. So many "plan to reads" on my list!

I'm reading 22 Britannia Road by Amanda Hodgkinson. It's about post-war Polish immigrants to England and I'm reading it because my own novel The Black Madonna of Derby is also about a Polish immigrant family and I thought it would be interesting to read it. I'm hoping to get Claire Tomlin's biography of Dickens for Christmas and plan to read Stephen King's new novel as well. What are you reading?
