Merry Christmas Olga. May the joys of family, friends and heaven fill your heart. May You have a blessed day and a vey Merry Christmas.
My adult children are 27, 25, and 22. They will visit me. I am also going to visit my parents, who are 76 and 72. Then we will drive to my wife's family in Tulsa, OK, for New Year's! Should be fun. Jeff
The book is called Catch-22. It is an American favorite. It should be the first book in my favorites--blue cover with a red man captured in mid-jump. How are you doing? We are all doing well, my family, that is.
Also, I'm trying to redo my shelf to list my books from most favorite to least favorite. If my first book isn't Catch-22 by the American author, Joe Heller, then I haven't organized it yet! Kilgatron
Olga, I'm reading more than ever now. For a year or so, I didn't. It comes and goes. So many things to do and so little time.
Olga, I just read the American spy thriller Gorky Park. It is one of the best written books that I have read in a long time. The plot, pace, characterization, and situation are really interesting. Haven't heard from you in a while. Hope you're doing well. I like your picture too.
How is you book coming along?Evelyn S
Hi Olga, thanks for replying. A Kindle is an E Book a small book with a microchip in brought out by Amazon.com and .uk You can have books for free, classical ones mostly, and you can buy some cheap (at the moment - the various publishers are not happy about the lower prices they charge) and some under the published price. You can make the word larger so if like me, you have sight problems, it is easier to read and if you travel, you can take loads of books to read just on this one small handheld reader about 7 or 8 inches by about 5 or 6 inches. I also bout a cover for it in leather as I am inclined to drop books when reading when i fall asleep reading.I agte my first porridge of the winter this morning, my cat asked me for some. She has been doing strange things lately so that was one of her old tricks.Take cae, Eveln S
Hello Olga, how did you find The lost Symbol? I started to read it and got stuck on one bit and never went forward because i had bought my Kindle by this time and had lots of books on that to read/ How are you?Evelyn S
It sounds interesting. The No.1 Ladies detective Agency was good, it's a crime fiction book, there is a series of them the detective is Pecious Ramotswe, it's the firts in the series, I've enjoyed it and will read more of them I've also read Freedom's Land by Anna Jacobs which was also good, it was set in Australia post word war 2. I'm now re-reading Ben Hur.
hey!I just finished reading The Book Of Tomorrow by Cecelia Ahern and i'm now reading Dreamland by Sarah Dessen.
Hey!How's it going ??? What have you been reading lately???
Hi. I'll read pretty much anything really. I haven't read The Name of the Rose, whats it about? I've almost finished The No.1 Ladies Detective Agency and will then be reading Freedoms Land by Anna Jacobs.
Hi! Thanks for accepting the friends request. Hope you're well, what are you reading at the moment?
