    Well hello Dave! Long time no hear!

    Glad to see you and know now that life has not swallowed you whole! lol

    Actually I am doing very good this week, just got back from a weeks vacation in sunny Florida! Nice and relaxing, no husband, no kids.....paradise! lol Have a nice tan going on now but it is fading way too fast! :)

    Hey, I understand the computer thing but you are right, it is the way of things now and really if it weren't the internet.....I never would have met you and what a shame that would have been. Right? :) And I am just glad to hear from you now and again so don't worry about how long it's been, just keep in touch.

    Anyways, I really haven't been reading much lately. Brought a couple of books on vacation but ended up not even touching them. I did start one before I left though but haven't had time to pick it up again since. It's Shayla Black's Strip Search. Pretty good so far...nice and steamy. Looking forward to getting caught up around here so I can finish it.

    So what has been keeping you busy lately? What have you been reading?

    Good Morning Dave, or should I say afternoon to you? Awh now come on...I am sure you have 15 friends :) If not, believe me, it can be a hassle trying to keep them all happy. Kind of like a bunch of brothers and sisters!
    Anyways, yes, I am still working on writing, just finished an assignment for an author that is helping me, and no I haven't had much time yet to get to far into my classes. Too busy with holidays and other assignments. How about you? Have you tried writing anything? What is it that you would like to write about? Maybe we can help each other out here?

    Hi Dave,
    I had a great Christmas and new year. I loved watching the kids open their presents on Christmas morning and enjoyed having friends over for Christmas dinner. New Years, i had about 15 friends over for a house party. Had a total blast bringing in the new year with them. It is just not the same celebrating new years without lots of friends around.
    I am so glad to hear from you...thought maybe you forgot me..lol
    Maybe now that the holidays are over we can spend more time chatting...I'd like that.

    Dave,
    You would be surprised at how many good friends you can find on here if you are willing to take the time to keep in touch....I have found quite a few and am having the time of my life! Meeting new people from all over the world and here, in Shelfari, having something in common to start with makes meeting people very easy! As far as the books that I am into at the moment, well, I have quite a few in my TBR pile that have been hounding me, the only series that I really want to get to soon being Emma Holly's newest, the rest are stand alones mostly and I am working on one from Opal Carew and one by Trista Ann Michaels. I am into the contemporary thing right now, but switch up quite often to keep from getting burned out on one genera. I have the Anita Blake series, or most of them, started reading the first one a while ago, but couldn't really get into it at the time. The burned out thing being the reason. You will have to let me know how you like them, I have heard that they are really good!

    Seen that you are a new member of one of my groups. Read your profile, it's cute how you mention your kids. Anyways, just wanted to say as far as writing goes....if and when you find a subject you are truly passionate about...the writing comes easy, you make the time to get the thoughts onto paper. I used to feel quite similar, always thought to try writing, never took the time. Made the time when I found something that I was passionate about.
