and lol your beastly post made me chuckle, good stuff :D

Hope you're having a good day! (Just dawned on me that's it's nearlly lunch time and I've done nothing except eaten breakfast and had a darrnedd bath!)

Ooh thank you, I'll have to have a proper read through. I do vaguely remember reading something about how many girls actually torture their dolls. Did you used to play with Barbies?

Nooo, not at all, don't worry :) So how awesome was your time in London? :) did you get up to anything spectacullarrr?
and how's this week been, what you been up to and how are you? :D

I'm so glad it's started raining again.. I much prefer this kind of weather! Haha, I know what you mean about just going to the shop being a mega trek. I had just been going out to walk the dog right in the morning before the sun came out like crazy and then at 9/10 in the evening when it had gone down. I can't handle it. and plus I want to keep my pale complexion hhaha.
Happy where you are, eh? :P That's interesting, actually. I've always wanted to live somewhere else haha. Ohh yeah, New Zealand does look gorgeous. (and lol! that so IS the way to choose where to live!) Italy has some beautiful historical stuff too doesn't it? I've not even been out of England but I'm more attracted to 'masculine' (I don't know why I call them masculine but it kinda fits..) European countries like Germany, Finland, Holland etc in lieu of Spain, France and the other 'feminine' ones. Saying that, though. I want to visit these places but not necessarily live there, I suppose. Do you have like a specific setting you've imagined yourself living in? For example, a teeny cottage or something :P

Oh it's awesome. It's basically this criminal guy swaps bodies with this 'popular' girl. I found it just.. hilarious. And it has Anna Faris in it :3 mehehe
omgg yes. The American Pie films are soo funny. Well, the first three, I'd say. The spin offs like band camp and sorority something or whatever.. they're just MNEHRH. Ohh, Van Widler party liaison makes me giggle. I just watched pick of destiny the other night. Now that made me chuckle :D Have you seen anything good lately? I'm going to see public enemies with some friends this weekend, which I'm looking forward to :)
ooh I've not heard of that spooks one nor seen button moon ): (makes me want chocolate though hehee)
I'm watching tv less and less, actually. Generally speaking, it bores me. I'm more likely to watch it if I'm with other people but on my own I just get really restless and have to do something else (usually eat as I said before :P ). I'd much rather read though.. How about you?
Although, saying that.. one of my targets this summer is to get through all of the series of friends (my next door neighbour gave me her tapes.. there's only like 2 missing from the last series.. xDD). I cannnot see that happening haha Do you like friends?

OMG yess. Her Marilyn Monroe-esque hair was just. *dies* And no Conor Oberst does not win!! ;PP Brian Molko ftw! And oh, have you listened to Bat For Lashes? I heard them the other day (beautiful, beautiful music ) and she is gorgeous! http://www.last.fm/music/Bat+for+Lashes/+images/24967643

    :) Yeahh
I want to believe there's something.. but I can't physically. If that makes sense :P

Oh and the truman show made me sad, too. I still liked it alot though. I like sad things because they stay with you longer. Positive emotions don't last as long. (I feel like I've read that somewhere recently, actually.. hmm) Have you seen the cable guy? Creepehh!

Ooh, really? Having read Prozac Nation, it seemed very tame by comparison! Definitely a good book, though, if it can stir your mood like that :) (well, as long as it's not because the book's just THAT awful!) Still, mm, I liked it. I seem to thrive on that kinda thing, though, so y'know.

Oohh yay :D I hope you do. Personally, I find it's the most interesting subject I've studied. Everyone calls it a doss, but you know what NERRR to them! I still love it. I'm thinking psychology, sociology, philosophy but I still want to do German ): Bah. I dunno, I might be able to do that on the side too but I'm worried it's going to be too difficult because apparently the a-level really is a massive step up from GCSE (my college didn't offer it at a-level, but I really want to pick it up again.. I like languages, do you?)
I'm ok because I really ought to get the grades. I'd have to mess up pretty badly not to (I think that's fair enough considering I worked my butt off both years haha). I'm just hoping they're consistent with my other stuff, though, so I don't disappoint myself. That sounded really .. cocky, sorry! I don't mean it like that.. it's just like other people at college were like ahh why are you stressing out but, I mean, I made sure I didn't have to do resits and worked hard for the years so that I didn't need to stress out majorly at the end.. How are you feeling about it?

Omg, yes! I am uber excited! I keep looking at my calendar and shaking my head in disbelief! xD I mean it's only about 2 months! 2 months, 4 days for mine actually (found out that accommodation actually starts on the 11th, a few days earlier than I'd thought) How are you feeling about it? I've pimped my suitcase! haha good times. I want to start packing though already lol just to feed on the excitement really, I think :P Are you a bit like that or are you trying not to think about it 'til it comes around?

As long as it's for you, I say go for it :) Although, personally, I could not live without my biscuits and after-dinner mints (the divine ones- seriously, god-sent!) I can't do changing my eating habits though nowadays.. I don't have the serious commitment so I just end up eating more because I think about it more. I'd rather just get more exercise, I think.

Yeahh :) No, I know what you mean. I like books that make me challenge my views about the world, that make me really think.

Wooah, really! I imagine that as talking to big groups, I couldn't handle that. Or does it not have to be public speaking? What did you used to want to be when you were little? :P
Honestly.. I'm not really that bothered.. I don't have anything in mind. As long as I find a job I can handle day in day out and be able to afford to live then I'm fine. I don't really even want a job. I want to stay in education for a bit and then really live. I hate the fact that all we do is work all our lives.. just seems ridiculous that if we're gonna live we might as well do something that makes us happy rather than do something because that's the way it's done.. then again, I suppose some people do want to have a job and that. I dunno, it's not my idea of happiness. I'd rather volunteer all my life. Some career lady told me that maybe I should go into social work. *shrugs* I'm not sure. I wouldn't mind working to help the homeless or well I dunno something that seems like it has a real point. Haha, woah.. Went a bit crazy there on the writing. I'll stop!

    49p! Are you kidding me?!
Major kudos to you! I'm definitely going to have to pop in there!! Geeeez.
Although, I did get a good deal the other day on eBay actually- Jack Kerouac's On The Road (which I've been after for ages and costs more on it's own than I paid for the whole lot!), Graham Greene's Heart of the Matter and Virginia Woolf's To The Lighthouse for £3.10 including postage! :D Waheyy!
Noo that does sound good, books that actually genuinely inspire you are a rarity! I'm gonna add it to my shelf :)
heh yeah, I added gabillions. I had a bunch of books bookmarked on amazon (as well as lists of books on there... still need to add some, believe it or not!) and I wanted to put them all in the same place so I have a proper record hehe.
I just finished American Psycho. I have mixed feelings about it, though. Ellis is clearly an awesome writer but it was far too graphic for me (I'd already seen most of the film but though it'd kinda gored it up for the purpose of the film.. but err.. no.. ). And graphic in terms of violence (expected) and sexually (unexpected) and the combination of the two is just. Eurgh, I was actually cringing so much through it. So, I'm not sure. I feel bad for saying it though as everyone seems to bum it haha. Have you seen the film/read the book?
I'm going to read Lord of the Flies next (finally!) I think. What are you reading now?
Hmmm. I dunno, ooh ohh. I read Robert Rankin's hollow chocolate bunnies of the apocalypse must've been a week or so ago. That made me laugh out loud, and I keep wishing I was still reading it hehe. It's awesome. It's like a crime thriller thing set in a toy city. It's just.. christ, the imagination on that man! :P I can't remember if I've already raved to you about it, actually hehe
and yess I love my bike :3 I don't use it quite as much as I used to, but I'm always up for a good bike ride.. especially good here because my mum can't drive, my dad won't and the public transport suuuucks! Do you have a favourite .. sporty thing? :P Lol. Biking's not really a sport is it, but you know what I mean? And i like that image alot! i should totally get a cute little bike with a basket on the front :D a mountain bike's not quite so romantic :P hehe

ahh no ): that sucks. I hope it's still useful, though.. Have you done any scrapbooking recently? OOh and you make cards, too? :) niiiice
My jewellery came today acually. yayay. I only have a webcam picture, though, because my camera's all the way across the room and I'm feeling lazy haha :P
    http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v607/smilee_jenny/?action=view¤t=beautifulstuff.jpg
I'm actually in love with the stuff :) I think I'm giving the hair slides to my mum because she uses them, and well, I don't really but it was buy one get on free so hehe. I love the fact that even the clip bit on the necklace is special. And another reason why I love handmade- people package things soo nicely! Ahh good stuff :DD

That's about right, actually. People think there's nothing to eat full stop (there's soo so much!) but it really is just out and about usually. So it does help that I'm not a takeaway fan.. I'd rather take my own stuff anyway to save money and to make sure I like it hehe.
It's only been a year and a bit.. I wish I'd made the change way wayy before then.. This sounds stupid, but I genuinely wasn't even aware of it. I can't believe how much I've changed in the last few years haha. Do you think you've changed?
And yess, people do seem to get excited about trying to search out food you can have, like it's a personal challenge :P My friend works at co-op and she'll sporadically come out with stuff like, 'you cannot eat Co-op's BLAH but you can have their BLAHH' It's some good stuff :D
It's only sad times because people seem to see it as a reason to dislike you. I pretty much keep it to myself because I don't want to come across as preachyy.. Someone at college, I remember, was talking about Alan Davies and how funny they thought he was but then they were like, I found out he was vegetarian- what an idiot, I don't like him anymore. I was just like.. o: whhhaaa?!
I'm not looking forward to explaining myself in halls when people question my weird eating habits.

Ohh yeah, I know what you mean! Lazy cooking, ftw! :DTo be fair, though, you can't beat a good sandwich! :P Do you have a favourite quick meal?
I'll try something new as long as I know I have a backup plan and aren't going to starve if I can't stomach it haha. Nah, I'm pretty much joking, I'll usually give things a go.
haha yeah.. what's the point in going abroad if you're not going to sample the whole culture! Where's your favourite place that you've visited?

Oh haha, we only ended up going there for about an hour or so because my friend had work in the afternoon and we spent most of the time in the orange shop instead cause one of my friends was panicked about her bank having taken £210 out.. turns out she'd gone over her mobile phone contract by that much on calls to her boyfriend!! (she has 600 mins/ month, too.. I mean HOW?!) It was quite funny in a not funny way, though. Are you a mobile fan?

I've had to slow down on the sewing because I was out of zips haha. I have some more now though so woot woot :D I'm steadily getting through my fabric, though. :) It's good times, very good times :) I'm very happy to be expanding my wardrobe hehe

    Hope you're well, take care!

I'm pretty well thank you :) I cannot actually bear this heat though.. I'm changing my sleeping hours so that I don't have to live through it- it's hurting me that much xD
    How are you doing? :)

oh nooo, don't worry at all! Are you having fun, though, besides the heat? what have you been up to?
and yess.. we have, it's awful. I can't handle the sun.. it makes me feel ill- sick and headachey and like you don't ever want to move. I mean, it's lovely and all but I can't handle it on a day to day basis.
ahh that does sound perfect actually.. I always say I want the opposite of whatever season it currently is because that just about sums up how awkward I am haha
where you would live if you could live anywhere in the world?

you've not seen it?! omgg, you're missing out. I hope you can watch it soon so we can both reminisce about some of the funniest moments. I really hope you like it now haha, otherwise I'm going to look like such a loser hehe.
actually, I've not really seen any teen movies from now to be honest.. or I can't think that I have..

I think it's mainly that it's crap :P I cannot actually believe some of the stuff I used to watch.. some weird stuff, too.. did you ever watch the trap door or the shoe people? Now they're freaky.. my nieces were watching the old school my little pony the other day too and that was pretty scary actually..

I just had to google James McAvoy *hands head in embarassment* ahhha! I know now. The centaur in narnia! woot. D you like him as an actor, too, or..? In fact, I've seen him in wanted, too.. have you seen that? Pink is stunning! I always love her hair, makeup and general style.. Christina Aguilera :P I have a bit of a crush on her, actually haha, especially in her fighter and voice within videos *drools*
Conor Oberst reminds me of Brian Molko- he's cuter ;P

haah yeah I'm cool with it, I just don't want to offend anybody else..
I'm an atheist.. how about you?

ah really? bolt's so loveable :) I mostly wanted to see it because the storyline reminded me of the truman show. Jim Carrey is so awesome :)

oooh yeah it's great :D It's written in an odd kinda broken way, which I'm not sure's everybody's cup of tea but I really liked it.. Whether I got the right message, I'm not sure but it deals with yuppie culture- thus dealing with money and materialism. It kept making me think of sociology because in crime and deviance Merton-yes, I'm about to spout some stuff I had to learn for the exam, please feel free to skip this haha-said that there are 5 responses to anomie/normlessness (which is like the pressure to deviate from the cultural goals and means of achieving them.. ie. getting a good job and making lots of money etc by gaining the skills and working hard). Conformists, innovators, ritualists, retreatists and rebels. Man, I love sociology. ahaha Anyway, basically the main guy in the story seemed to be flitting about them and it was interesting to see something I'd learned actually in practice haha. But yes. I've probably made it sound very dull, but it is truly very interesting :P hopefully Jack'll enjoy it (and make sure he lends you it :P)

Ahh milkweed, that's by the same writer as stargirl, right? I really want to read that :P nice purchases :) lol! what's the ice queen about?
I decided to read chocolate bunnies of the acopalypse (which I found hilarious.. some of the humour is just so similar how me and one of my friends sometimes interact :D), finished that sooner than I'd expected and I'm on to the bell jar now finally! I've been wanting to read this for aaaages.

ooh! have you had a water fight? I could just about die for one haha
    ooh dove charms, cuuute :)
I fell in love with a necklace ( a black butterfly with rainbow swirls on it.. very cool) and two sets of earrings (mushrooms and strawberries :D ) on etsy and had to buy.. they were on sale too so only cost me £5.58 including postage! What a bargain :D

hehe wow, my grandparents live down the road lol, I can't imagine travelling a significant amount to see them!

    ooh thankeehh :)

eurghh nooo. I've done that before and not left the pizza in the oven for long enough either. I was starving but it was still absolutely revolting.. I won't touch a pizza that I've made myself, it makes me feel ill ):
I love your initiative with the tikka sauce and that though LOL :P
I'm also mostly a fan of the dessert stage- so lots of cakes, biscuits and that. Those muffins sound delicious! How did they turn out?
My favourite is this recipe I have for chocolate cupcakes :) mmmmm. They're mega yum and it's really funny when people are like how can these be nice AND vegan- you must have cheated. Or something equally as insulting but amusing :P I cook a fair bit, but I get pretty lazy these days and live on kinda very easy to make stuff like cereal, veg with pasta/rice/cous cous etc.., sandwiches and toasties, beans on toast lol anything really easy cause I'm soo lazyyy most of the time. What's your favourite meal?
I found out this book called grub on a grant that I picked up a bit ago on the cheap. It's actually really really good. The recipes are all really easy without having like a billion different ingredients (no, I do not want to put five different kinds of herbs into my dish!) so that's really great, I'm trying some out of there to make sure I eat a bit more of a variety of stuff. I like to eat the stuff I know that I like, but I'm trying to shake myself out so that I find more stuff that I like :) Do you like trying new foods?

Ooh, thank you, I'll add that to my shelf now :D hehe Freud. Ahh, what a man.

ahh, goodnnesss. I wouldn't be able to handle classics all the time, how are youfeeeling about that?

I'm going down to the castle in town tomorrow to meet my friends so that should be good. It was almost a ritual for us to go there every saturday to catch up and we've not done it in ages so looking forward to that :)

Righto, bye for now! :) Have a good time up to when I next speak to you (well, and after that but you know what I mean :P )

    Yo Meg :)
wasn't sure whether to reply cause you said you hadn't finished but I don't want you to think I've ignored your post so I figured I'd write back, so hope that's ok :)
Have you been busy busy this week, what you been up to?
I've been doing the usual- reading, sewing, reading, sleeping and with lots of eating in between :D I'm trying to get through my fabric because I can only really take it up to Glasgow in the form of clothes.. and plus a new wardrobe is never a bad thing :D
ooh and there's a car boot sale coming up, and a couple of village fetes (one in particular that always has LOADS of books!) but now i'm not sure I can go which sucks.. they're all sundays which is when my nieces come over, which stops my mum from being able to leave the house without them and I really don't fancy biking out and going on my own ): burgh.

haha sorry, at least it's there if you feel the urge :D
ooh nice :D you'll have to show me when you make something of them, too :D
the whole postage]package.. that's my qualm with etsy, actually. I wish you were able to search within sellers of a specific location. I know there's the shop local thing and something else to do with location but I dunno, it's not very easy.
:) oui, oui. Backlash: the undeclared war against women- now that is beast! I didn't realise it was going to be so big haha

I'll dig out that recipe.. I think my mum has it somewhere because it's just a clipout from a newspaper :) and that'd be great if you could send me the banana bread one, how did it come out? Like, was it moist/crumbly etc?
oh hell no! Don't leave the desert stage, that's the best part! :D
omgosh and mince pies are amazing! I remember eating them when I was still in my pram when my mum'd take me to church at christmas! haha I always make jam tarts when I make mince pies, too... and leave the lids off because i'm lazy and like the mince bit too much hehe
oh and I know what you mean by turning to mush! I'm keeping reading and doing some sudoko to keep my brain busy.. but I know I'll have forgotten to write when I get back haha which is really weird especially having written like a beast during exams! Are you doing any academic reading for September or anything? I feel like I probably should but whether I can actually be bothered is a whole other issue..
cakkkkeee! :D and novelty shaped biscuits hehe :) do you have a favourite recipe?

Ahh no I didn't see the elephant diaries ): I saw a bit of cat diaries and that was so good :D
ooh and when dinosaurs ruled the earth.. I mean, I know that's not the same.. but dinosaurs are so awesome, I had to throw them in there :3
ohmygosh that's sounds so lovely :)
I don't know that I have a favourite animal, actually, I like most of them hehe I tend to be scared of them though to be honest.. especially cows! you will never see me walking through a cow field- EVER.

    ahhhw :D haha
sounds like you're all really close that's pretty ace :)
I'm glad we don't have anything like that.. it'd be awful xP I can handle a couple of hours when family come over like annually.. but apart from that :P

ahhw that card sounds really lovely :)
I made my dad one too but it was not at all imaginative.. just an old illustration from the adventures of fern hollow of a rabbit fishing, and I wrote happy father's day over it haha
I keep trying to make people gifts and that but I'm really lacking ideas.. and I'm not sure everybody appreciates it.. do you usually make your own gifts?

argh two buses in the morning is kinda annoying.. I would've been really paranoid about missing one and being stranded! Are your buses usually not on time, then? :P bah, that must just be england's poor public transport! I just had to get the one and it's about a 30-45 minute journey :) and I was at college, which is well.. a massive improvement on school but still not the best thing ever.. mostly because I don't like the town it's in particularly.. and I don't like having to get a bus at half 8 in the morning ): booo
how did you find your time at college, better than school? :P

haha your mum sounds great :P
and knitted underwear would so not be a bad thing in winter! :D
I'll have to try that out, thanks :)
my gran taught me when I was alot younger (although I really could not say whether it was knitting or crocheting.. haah .. oh wait.. 2 so that's knitting, right? *shrug*) but I wasn't interested back then ): silly me
and wow the crafts channel on youtube :D I'm bookmarking that bad boy, thankeh!

ooh I've not heard that leaked one of Amy Lee's.. I'll have to look out for it.. and agreed.. the second album's just.. ordinary.. I mean it's fair enough, but a let down from their first, in my opinion.
omg yess! Isn't she awesome?! I always have lines from the songs on Begin To Hope in my head, there's so addictive :P have you listened to her latest album?
Also, another brilliant and slightly bizarre singer/songwriter- Bats for Lashes.. I only heard her the other day and just fell in love immediately :D

omgosh tucker :P Seth Green was in that too wasn't he? Legennd. argh man, I wish they still showed that!
haah I've not heard of it it does sound funny though xD

is it hot where you are? It's been absolutely boiling here these last few days.. it's killing me. I can't handle the heat ):

    auf weidersehen!

    Ok, down to business :D

Did you have a good time in London with your boyfriend?
and how did the banana bread taste!? Was this a step in your learning to cook that you mentioned? It reminds me of this time I made the easiest pineapple cake ever.. Tin of pineapple chunks, sugar, flour and raising agents and bam in the oven- surprisingly tasty :) Do you like cooking/baking? I make the distinction here because I like to bake but not really to cook.. people seem to assume they're the same thing, but they're really not.

hmm, what have I been up to..? ooh, we went to rufford park the other day for a couple of hours (we spent most of the day stocking up on picnic food lmao xD) still it was good fun :) and we walked around the lake and such :) it's so gorgeous there, I would genuinely be happy just being there all day. We saw lots of ducks and geese and such :) My favourite duck is officially the coot now because we saw one walking on this log in the water.. it was a weird moment. I pretty much fell in love with this particular one because it turned around and nearly fell over it's own foot (which are both freaky and cool!) and it just looked so human! I wanted to cuddle it :3 and we saw these awesome baby moorhens with like full legs but teeny bodies, it was so funny :D Do you like animals?

My families kinda average sized I guess. My mum has 2 sisters, 4 brothers (I think :P) and my dad just a sister.. my sister's partner has 7 brother's though! Woahhs. I have a brother and two sisters- all older.. :P Hehe, what about your family?

Ooh, lavllley :D Is chinese your favourite takeaway then?
ahh, it was pretty basic really.. it's nice fabric though :) black with red vertical stripes and lines of flowers :) hehe black and floral is the perfect combination :P
    have you made anything recently?

That's reassuring, I suppose I'll eventually read them, to get in on this whole twilight cult thing that's going on.. :P

ah you were on a busy bus? Our busy was practically empty because it just went through the villages really so I always had to find something to do.. I usually found that I was too exhausted by the end of the day to read on the way home, though and too tired in the morning too! xD haha I get travel sick if I read for more than like 20 minutes though..especially if it's hot, so it's not the best idea for me ): How long was your bus ride?

haha, yeahh. My favourites used to be bourbons and they're something like 70 per biscuit.. pink wafers (the pink panther kind, at least) are good, though, because they have added vitamins and minerals so you can claim some kind of good has come of eating so many XD I used to be really bad with calorie counting and that, but it was taking up so much of my life I just thought, you know what.. to hell with you! weirdly, I know eat far less anyway.. so odd how things like that work..

Do you knit or crochet? and lol I'll probably go for knitting then! Knitting seems to have some cooler patterns, too. I really ought to ask my friend to teach me. :)

Blazing squad, mcfly... *shakes head* nah I'm kidding :P Amy Lee has such a gorgeous voice, their first album is so so .. melancholy. 'Hello' makes me want to cry ): actually, most of the album does but y'know :)
ARTHUR! YAYY! Were you a nickelodeon kid? most of my friends watch citv but that's so not where it was at! Sabrina the teenage witch was the best program ever :) (still is! haha) saved by the bell, hey arnold, rugrats, ah the gems, absolute gems!

argh I really hope so. I can fake confidence pretty well when I need to but it can go either way depending on my mood, so I need to try and be really optimistic on my first week or so and not just estrange myself by sitting in my room and never leaving it :P
opposite lidl! well chosen! haha no I've not! I'm sure you're the first person who I've heard say that they actually like advent calendar chocolate, though! xD
Yeah, I just got freaked out too because I have all of the days written on my whiteboard to wipe off as they go and I just had to wipe off a good week and a half that I'd forgotten to do.. I just can't believe it's going so quickly! I thought this holiday would drag on! Is there anything you're especially looking forward to/ not looking forward to?

I've never seen one fine day.. what's it about?
Slap her she's french is amazing :D I love that film! The hot chick, I love that too :D (I think that was 90s..) Have you seen it? Clueless is on tv tonight isn't? Or tomorrow or something :)
Yeah I definitely know what you mean about Michael Cera.. it's wayy beyond me..
hmm.. gahh I'm not sure (however, I am going to think for some time in order to provide you with a long list of people I find attractive even though I'm sure you're not THAT bothered xD) Straight off, I'd have to say Winona Ryder haha, Maxim from the prodigy (PHWOAR!), Morrissey in his younger days :) .. I used to have a massive crush on Mike Dirnt from Green Day from when I was like 12 too lol xD Mm, I dunno.. I tend to crush on people I see around and that, rather than celebrities and that.. How about yourself?
Oh is it really? ): I'll probably still watch it because it has Katie Holmes in it haha

Hmm, err.. well, we were just doing crime and deviance.. relating it to social class, gender, ethnicity etc. So that came up with some pretty interesting debates. I liked doing religion the most, though :D haha yeah I know what you mean. Although I'm alot less confident these days to debate, because I'm never sure of myself.. I don't know if that's a good or a bad thing. What do you most like to debate about? :P

yeah I can see what you mean actually :) I like the kinda innocent happy ending ness, though as a kind of escape if you know what I mean
ohh yeah, the pixar ones are awesome.. have you seen bolt? That's aaweeesome :D

I just finished generation x which was awesome. Exactly the kind of writing and subject I liked to read about so two thumbs up :D What are you reading at the moment? Ahhh. Back in that awkward position of wondering what to read next, though :P

    In a while, crocodile :D

Hey :) it was good to hear from you again, I'll reply in a bizzle (it's still too early for me to make a good full reply- demonstrated by that horrible, horrible phrasing right there!) However, I just saw some awesome paper and had to share haha

once you get past the first five or so items, there are some individual sheets I thought were really nice or at least worth me linking you to in case you like them :)
(and lol at sales crap.. I hope the people who made the page laughed :D ) I bought some stuff from them recently, too, and they're a good seller :)

I'll get back to you soon :D Have a great day :D

    Hiya,
Actually I don't really go to Waterstones as there is not one near me - I just used it as a generic catch-all term for a decent bookshop. Yes it is overpriced (though not as much as the ludicrous Borders). I usually use this site to buy books:
    http://www.comparisonmagic.co.uk/
Shelfari definitely needs to refine its search for similar people. I'd be fascinated to find people with similar shelf's to mine - which is absolutely all over the place. I have sent out a few friend requests, but interestingly no men have accepted so far. I wonder why.
I am amazed at your sentence "they may have been completely revolutionary at the time but some of them are just a complete drag to read". I have thought that for years. I remember reading "The Prisoner of Zenda" which was dire (bordering on unreadable). I think there are definitely some classics which are not very good, but were popular a couple of hundred years, or (more charitably) were something new during their time, but have now been superceded. I only read one DH Lawrence book and I thought that was crap (never did like books where nothing much really happened outside of people's heads), and I agree that Brave New World was a crock of shit too, although I am not adverse to speculative fiction when done right.
I have no end of book recommendations! And movie / music ones too for that matter. It depends what you like really. To clarify one point though, I did not think Fingersmith was perfect. There was some bits that didn't particularly grab me (the lesbian love story, the 'erotic' parts, Victorian sexual politics etc.), but there was enough stuff that did to compensate (hence why I gave it 4 stars not 5). It is odd because although I like reading, I dislike at least 95% of books. This is not just snobbery either, as there are plenty of books where I can appreciate that it is well written or have a good story, without actually enjoying it. 'The English Patient' is a good example, where the actual story was a good one, but the writing style just couldn't keep me conscious. I am not familiar with Jodi Picoult, but am somewhat prejudiced against her books because the covers put me off - something about them make them look like the sort of thing that are occasionally given away with women's magazines. I know there is a film of one of them out now starring Cameron Diaz that got utterly slated.
I smiled when you asked if I share an interest in books with my girlfriend. She regards reading as slightly lower than waterboarding in terms of her favourite past-times. Actually we don't have that much in common at all really, and anyway she might be leaving the country shortly as the home office screwed up her student visa. Are you and your boyfriend students?
Oh well, better make some token effort to do some work now.....

niice! They come up on mine as squares but with little numbers in.. weiiird.

Ee :) sounds like fun! Did it give you a bit more inspiration to get writing? What kinda stuff does he write? Ooh nice :) how was the food?
I made another skirt today (dug into my fabric stash, it was rather frightening! :P ) and did some reading. My aunt and two uncles came over too as my aunt and 1 uncle live in Dubai and they're going back soon. So that was all good.

haha exactly! I'd be too embarrassed to whip it out! Do you read on buses and stuff? I've heard that the books deteriorate towards the end, is that not true then?

Ah really? I suppose I enjoy both, but it's easier to be lazy and watch films. Except I can't watch films and tv etc without eating- I need something to occupy my hands! (That's totally another reason why I should learn to knit d: )

That's so awesome :) I do enjoy a bit of panic at the disco. The first album is my getting ready to go out album haha, I do like both though but I'm not as familiar with the second one so I'd probably say I prefer the first :) I'm a big fan of pianos so their stuff makes me happeh :D Ahhw wow, yeahh we had a ska band around here.. christ what were they called.. goodness knows but they were awesome, they always used to play land down under by men at work, too, and we all know that's an awesome song :)
Oh hell to the yeah I've heard of them! I remember cutting out a picture and sticking it in my notebook when I was little and writing which one was my favourite.. haha. I used to adore Britney Spears when I was little, though, that was the only kinda cheesy stuff I was into.. I was pretty lucky because my eldest sister is pretty alternative and she used to get me to listen to the stuff she liked. She absolutely adores Nirvana, she used to get me to remember Kurt's birth and death dates to recite to her friends hehe I still like to listen to a bit of Britney though haha What are your guilty pleasures?
haha not at all, I'm jealous of the ones you've been too :D

Hmm, I suppose it's not too far away, I'm guessing just because it's just a direct train away *shrugs*

Ahh that sounds like you have a good group of friends :) Sharing a sense of humour, that's what I should have said- that's definitely me and Sophie :3
'I get so frustrated with people who when they get a boyfriend they don’t want to know their friends and just change into another person.'
oh god, yes! It's really upsetting, especially when they don't seem to notice at all and you can just see your relationship becoming really distant.. what happened to bros before hos! I think that's one of those things, actually. When everyone's straight, it seems easier to be in an all girl situation if you're with girls, otherwise everyone just seems to be fighting for the attention of the guys and it's really really frustrating.. it's like, there's more to life, srsly! xD

£2500, that's pretty good :) mine's £3,368.82 for the contract period, apparently :P 9 month contract.. do you know how long yours covers?
ahh that's fair enough :) I think I wanted to be there because I need to be forced to socialise.. I don't want to feel lonely.. I just found some photos and videos online, actually, looks pretty nice out there and like it'll be alot of fun. I'm pretty happy because the West End where the university is supposed to be really pretty- lots of trees and that (which I'm a big fan of :) ) and then there's still the big city.. seems like the best of both worlds :D

I really enjoyed Mice and Men! Upset that we didn't get to read it at GCSE, actually.. We read 1984 and Journey's End, though, so hmmm. I did really like it, though. So so sad. Oooh nice :D and I like the look of that book you added (sorry, it really must look like I do stalk you, I just trust your choice of books, I swear xP) Eve's Apple? or something like that..

oohw Studio Ghibli films are just soo soo cute. Everything in them is so .. perfect, though. I mean there are minor twists and that, but well it's always a happy ending, I suppose because they're intended for children. Still, they warm my heart like you wouldn't believe..
I've only seen bits of Napoleon Dynamite.. I thought it was pretty funny :D you like it, I take? Oh and I meant to say that I've only listened to the Juno soundtrack a couple of times, but I liked the film alot (more so on the second time I saw it.. it was another of those things that was all hyped up and I was kinda disappointed at when I saw it..) I don't see the whole let's all love the Cera guy, either.. I mean he's nice and all.. but I dunno.

    Au revoir!
that made me think of the aristocats.. do you like disney films? :P

Sounds like you're keeping busy :) How did your writing workshop and meal go?

I've not read Twilight, I'm waiting for the hype to die down a bit, I'd rather enjoy them in their own right because otherwise I'll probably hate them just because everybody loves them so much :P Did you enjoy them?
I loved the characters, the setting and the plot of the film.. but, I really didn't like it. haha that sounds weird, but I dunno, I just didn't think it was a good film. I'd probably feel different if I'd read the books but I'm not sure.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is a really really great film, in my opinion :) A love story at heart, but far more interesting than most..
Ooh, I listened to the goo goo dolls yesterday :) they are pretty good
and that Gurrumul song is so so sweet. It's so serene, like everything's gonna be ok, just relax..

That necklace is so gorgeous! How is it even possible that they managed to capture those beautiful colours in necklace form?! It was definitely worth waiting to find that!

    lol@steps and 911 :P haha you legend
ahhh Panic at the disco, did you see them before or after their second album?
Ahh god names, I can hardly remember.. we didn't really go after specific bands really.. well except IMYBIKE.. they were just.. amazing :D haha they got back together again I think but it's just not the same.
Yeah, that's a nice way to put it :)
not a gig, but I totally saw Steve Steinman's meat loaf trilogy a few years ago- god that was brilliant! I was on the front seats too, I could see him sweating ;) hahaa

umm, in the sense that we're all a bit weird, I'd say yes. One of my friends I've known since play group and I'm definitely most like her.. complete weirdos :P That's how I like it, though. This'll be the first time I've properly left her, I'm not looking forward to that ): She's staying in the area to do an art course so that should be awesome for her, my other close friend is going to sheffield hallam all being well. Sheffield hallam is mega popular at my college, no idea why :P I can't remember where most people are off to haha, I know there's someone for Newcastle, and one for leeds... thank goodness for facebook, otherwise I have no idea how we'd all keep in touch! What about your friends?
Hmmm, I'm not sure- my two closest friends are both girls but then I'm good friends with a lot of guys, too. I think it really just depends on the person more than their gender :) and I find that I get on with them in different ways. What do you think?

10 choices! I had to fill out 5 or 6 and I thought that was a bit much! Did it take long to look through all of the options? Ahw no ): although I suppose a bed's a bed! How much would that choice be costing you?
My choices are all self-catering and mixed. My top choice is in a student village :) Heh. How come you didn't want to be in the student village?

Ooh, let me know when you find the picture :) I love seeing stuff that people have made :)

I really enjoyed Tipping the Velvet :D I was about to say I preferred Fingersmith but actually they're both great but in different ways :)

I ended up reading Of Mice and Men and then started on Martyn Pig, which I read near the start of secondary school for a bit of a reminisce.. I'm struggling to get through it all though because it's obviously written for a younger audience.. (either that, or I'm just really not in the mood for it.. especially because I think I've remembered the twist :P ) Glad you have your book back! Are you enjoying it?
oooooh and I bought the handmaid's tale a few weeks ago :D I'm looking forward to reading that :)) I have another Margaret Atwood book too- The Oracle.. have you read/heard of that? I just happened to pick it up because she seems pretty well written from what I've heard..

Bless her, she's lovely! It's kinda sad that people think they need to change to suit other people in the first place, though. I'm glad she's happy in herself, though :)
I've not seen father ted, I'll have to keep an eye out for it :)
the mighty boosh is a bit weird. It's one of those things that if it was happening in real life you'd be laughing your head off but when you watch it it's kinda interesting and makes you smile.. there are some proper laugh out loud moments, though :) It's a fun series- I'll give it that :)

My day was ok, thanks :) I didn't get up too much at all, really. This holiday is going to be so lazy for me! :P I'm going to see my friend tomorrow for a catch up though so that should be teh access! :D
Do you have any plans for the day?

ohh, ohh, I saw My Neighbour Totoro the other day. Have you seen any studio ghibli films? I'm gonna have to buy the collection, asap :)

    Have a lovely day :D

    Yo Meg! :P

Freakiness- I was reading the songs that give you goosebumps and you mentioned hands down and I got goosebumps just remembering that song! (They keep sweeping back over me, it's scaring me! xD) I'm definitely gonna check those all out :D

I like it when a song has powerful lyrics but I tend to be more swayed emotionally by the mood that it creates but I suppose it kinda depends.. You sound like my ex :P He is a big fan of lyrics. Your music taste seems quite similar to his actually, I know he likes Bright Eyes, Belle and Sebastian and Alanis Morisette.. He also likes Elliott Smith, Beck (their song everybody's gotta learn sometime is mega powerful.. especially because it's on the credits of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and that film makes me bawl!), Owen, Cursive.. Hmm, can't think of anything else right now, but you might like some of those artists (well assuming you've not heard them already, which you probably have :P )
I've not heard anything by the goo goo dolls, a folky-acoustic sound did you say they had? I have literally only heard their name :P
and yess, I totally have heard of Blackmore's Night! They're awesome, the singer has such a gorgeous voice! (Why on earth don't I know her name?! I know it's Richie Blackmore and his partner/ wife? or something.. )
and yess, Enya! ooohh, the lotr fellowship soundtrack.. now that's a killer! 'Bag End' is definitely one to check out. Have you listened to Loreena McKennit or the Medieaval Baebes? They have similar styles to the stuff we've mentioned.
On a different kinda genre, have you listened to Emilie Autumn or the Dresden Dolls? Weird and oh so wonderful!

haha, you've got a serious task ahead of you there! Way to go, you, I'd (and I know most people would..) never be able to even attempt to write a book, so double thumbs up :)

ooh and I saw the new books you added to your shelf! Those are some really great finds! You've inspired me to find out when a car boot's going down around these parts! I want to get in on that bargain hunting :P

oh hell yeah! I can talk for the world, but only really if I'm one-to-one, even when I'm with two friends I know well I tend to be much quieter because I dunno.. I kinda feel like they'd rather talk to the other person than me lol.. And friends of friends are scary! It's weird because you'd think you'd be less scared because they're obviously good people if your friend likes them and yet it's ridiculously daunting to meet them! Well, I think so too :P
haha you legend ;D I think it's good that you can laugh about it, though, because well, what else can you do? :) I usually laugh when I fall over, especially if I'm on my own.. I must look like a right mad head to passers by! That's really awful ): It really just.. frustrates me to death that people can be so horrible when they could just as easily be accepting and nice! Grrr at the world!

hehe, that is the good of it, and because it means I'm never at school/college etc when it's my birthday :D
I've no idea what I'll be doing yet, I don't usually really do anything but since it's my 18th and we'll all be separating for uni, I probably should do something significant :) How do you usually celebrate your birthdays?
Crikey! For real? I hate big shipping costs ): it makes me sad about ordering things online.. and I'm still holding out for photos of that necklace, young lady ;P

I've only seen local bands ): *woe* and not even recently, because no one's really that bothered to go anywhere but the clubs.. eurgh (don't get me wrong, it's fun on and off but how people go out every weekend, or every other night like some people Ii know, is beyond me!). Although to be fair, i did turn down the chance to go to slam dunk festival but mostly because I'm not really into any of the bands haha. I want to go and see Biffy Clyro in November, though, when they play in Glasgow :) I'll be getting my gigs on when I'm up there hopefully hehe who have you seen? :)

'The way i see it, if i looked okay when i left the house then no matter what i end up looking like at the end of the day, i can at least say i looked okay in the morning :P'
I'll raise a glass to that! However, for me, it means avoiding mirrors all day for fear
of seeing myself looking awful and wanting to cry and go home.. Ahhw no! At least you saved it! You don't sound superficial at all :) and I know what you mean.. it's so horrible when you just wanna go out and have some fun but you feel so horrible about how you look (even after trying on like dozens of outfits..) that you just wanna sit inside with the lights out xD It's really stupid, though, because I'm sure that most people genuinely don't care and don't see your 'flaws' but it still seems like such a big deal :P I think we should be positive, though, if we're both saying we don't want to be stuck with bimbos then hopefully there's more people having the exact same thoughts :)
I just really really hope I get along with my flatmates.. what's your accommodation like?

ooh, and I just saw something on crafster that's given me a good idea :) Somebody made envelopes from magazines (I so used to do those to send to my sister haha) and I'm thinking I could make a bunch and give them to my two best friends when we go our separate ways.. then we might make more of an effort to keep in touch and we'd know when a letter was from each of us :P hehe sorry, just thought I'd share. Are you a lurker on crafster or do you usually post stuff?

aww thank you :3 It took me like 3/4 hours.. one side's a teeny bit longer than the other on the back where the zip is, haha, my badd but other than that I'm pretty happy how it came out. I'm having ruffle mania at the moment hehe :) Most of my other stuff's been pretty boring to be fair.. mostly basic stuff that I don't think you'd be too interested in hehe. Is there anything you're proud of and want to show off to me? :D

Those gifts sound gorgeous!! I love collages :D

Oohhh, yeahh, they're not stationery but you can totally put buttons in under the cool things to collect :D My mum has loads of cute buttons that she's salvaged from old stuff actually. I like mini hearts and stuff like that, how about you?
Ohh and I have this tub of them :D I've no idea how many I have haha

I know what you mean, actually! I'd read up to where the court case finished and though ok.. why are there so many pages left (turns out there was an excerpt from another of her novels at the end, but still.. ) and then that happened and I was like :O I can see what you're saying, actually, seems like it was just kinda thrown in to stun you.. I still really really enjoyed it, though :) Ooh, I need to get reading the time traveller's wife so that I can watch both of those. Bridge to Terabithia's basically about these two kids that make friends and they have their own little fantasy world. I didn't know at all what it was about when I went in and then half way through something happens (I'll not spoil it for you in case you watch it, it's ever so good) and I didn't stop crying for like an hour after it had finished!

hehe, nahhw it's usually alright as long as you leave the door open the room it's burning in or open a window slightly or something so that it can circulate a bit :) It's soo relaxing :3

yeahh I picked up brave new world (this was one from the church sale that was 10p! it's a recent edition and literally like new, I can't believe it!) because I really enjoyed 1984 and I figured I'd like another dystopian novel. I did start reading and was a bit like blahh but I'd been reading something really light before that so I was probably just not in the mood hehe. and lol, I don't think me and classic writers particularly get on.. it's just that I really want to read the classics so I struggle through hehe. They do make it awfully difficult to get through a paragraph though haha :P
Have you decided on one yet? I'm still oohing and aahing because I was kinda hoping my stuff from amazon was gonna come toady but I don't think it will and I can't wait until tomorrow to start reading again haha

I still can't remember the american guy's name but meh :P I like your taste in comedians, though :) Dawn French just seems so lovely and genuine! Move over Michael McIntyre, I want to hug her! :D Haha and he is a legend when he starts off taking the mick out of the accent and then's like 'I don't know why I'm talking like that' xDD Ooh, Bill Bailey, he's hilarious! Do you like the mighty boosh? or older comedies? Blackadder and Bottom both make me giggle (I feel oh so silly when I watch bottom haha!).

Funniest thing yesterday.. my niece was over (she's 5.. I think) and she pointed to this picture of Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattison and was like, is that you and your boyfriend? I was in hysterics.. XD Have you seen the film?

Right, take care Meg! It's another long one from me, but I doubt you expect anything less knowing how much I waffle! :P

arghh ): sorry! you must have the patience of a saint! I get frustrated when I've only written about a paragraph and it does that to me!

It was ok thanks :) Links to the whole preferring to stay in bit.. I'm not really that comfortable in big groups- I don't feel confident enough to join in with everyone else and then feel all left out even though I brought it on myself xD Ahh dear. I prefer small groups with people I know well.. I guess I'm just a bit awkward.. and it totally doesn't help when everybody else is drinking and you're sober as anything :P I've lost interest in getting drunk and that, it's not worth how you feel the day after hehe. I can't really go out clubbing or anything anyway because I'm still 17 (my birthday's august 31st.. and heh, it really did take you a while to find a necklace you liked! I thought you meant your birthday was like last month haha) but it's not really my scene, anyway- I'd much rather go to a gig. What do you think?
and agreed, it totally makes me worry that I'm not gonna be able to make friends at uni because of it.. but I suppose with so many people there have to be some that don't just want to get wasted all the time :P Has it sunk in that you've finished college yet? It sure hasn't for me! I feel like I have to go in tomorrow!

Ooh, you should totally get into it! Then again, I suppose it's like anything crafty in that it's so rewarding when you've finished and are happy with the end result :) aahhh, I love it. :D ee, that's awesome. I choose to make dresses out of children's bed sheets haha (especially disney, you can't beat wearing a classic disney character- this is where my wearing black only rule falls down!) I usually make stuff up as I go along, or base it on another piece of clothing I have.. I have a couple of patterns but I majorly fail at them! I'd rather kind of draft my own and then change that a bit.. I don't know how to follow a pattern xD
I've named my skirt my grungy unicorn skirt (because if I'm wearing unicorns, I need to man it up a bit hehe) ok, this photo is shocking, apologies in advance, I was struggling with the self-timer (and eww at my knees! ack).. it's a bit of a beast to walk in, actually, I'm not used to wearing tight skirts haha it looks there's only layers on the right side, but they're all around.. just to make it a bit messier and the unicorn's are all glittery :3 I love the fabric
    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v607/smilee_jenny/ALIM1999.jpg

It is really great :) My friend herself isn't crafty though unfortunately ): I wish I knew some crafty people in real life (actually my friend knits, but that's the only crafty I'm aware of :) ). I want meetups where we all craft together, dagnabit! :P Do you know any fellow crafters? and lol@in the creative sense xP

ooh gosh, I just finished it and it made me cryyy!! I've lent it to my mum, because I think she'll enjoy it too. Gads, the ending just completely threw me off. I couldn't believe it. I really want to see the film now, too, though (what is it with being attracted to films that you know are gonna make you ball your eyes out.. have you seen bridge to terabithia by any chance?).
I'll pick up change of heart next, I think, then :)

ahh no! ): like the 3 things that are unlivewithoutable!

I'll stalk your shelf to see what you've added, don't worry hehe :) that sounds awesome, though, I'm definitely liking the sound of the candle! I love lighting candles and incense and just sitting in the dark :3 sounds like money well spent, m'dear!

I've not! Thanks, though, I'll have to eBay it up! Gotta love eBay- it's like the biggest car boot sale ever! :D

Agh, I know what youmean about choosing a book.. I've a bunch that I want to start on but I'm not sure which one to go with first (most likely between Lord of the Flies, a Brave New World and Birdsong.. have you narrowed your choices down?) I'm trying to read only one at a time because otherwise I end up having a few that I neglect. For example, (woah, I never thought I'd write that anywhere but an essay in college haha) Pride and Prejudice is still sat like 1/4 read and even though I enjoy it I just can't seem to get through it very quickly- I suppose because of the style of writing.. Do you usually read more than one book at once?

My friend who knits (Sophie, I recruited her onto shelfari haha), she once gave me this gorgeous doll that she made (it has a cute little black dress and pigtails! :D). She's also an artist and she gave me a copy of a drawing she'd done of Alice (of wonderland) peering into the forest and a griffin laying in a clearing.. It's absolutely gorgeous, she's so talented. Have you received any handmade gifts?

Oh, definitely! I'm a sucker for stationery! Especially notebooks and novelty erasers! xD I see all of the stationery from Japan on etsy and just druel but resist because I know they'd just sit in my draw :P I love stickers, too! Isn't there just something great about them, or is that just me? haha

yeah me too! Michael McIntyre is such a legend! I love his joke about argos being the poor man's cinema- always makes me laugh! In fact, I laugh just because of the way he flips his hair :P In fact, that reminds me.. my brother borrowed the live dvd and hasn't returned it darn it! I remember catching a bit of the friday night project a few years ago and was like.. eurgh how can anyway watch this.. but I agree, Alan Carrr has kinda grown on me :P I also love Frankie Boyle even though he's mega controversial and you don't want to laugh xD Jo Brand's awesome too :D and that american guy who always wears cowboy shirts. I can't remember his name hehh I'll have to listen out for Alan Carr on the radio, I hadn't realised he had a show :)

    ooh yay (Y) :D
and there's some really lovely videos of Omnia performing on youtube from their live dvd (youtube omnia pagan folk if you want to find them.. I know tine bealtaine is up there and the raven but I can't remember what else..) and you can see the people dancing and that.. that made me cry too (clearly, I'm a bit too emotional)
hehe, well if it makes you feel better, I had never heard of grooveshark :P thanks for the link, though, looks like there's a fair amount of stuff on there that spotify doesn't have :) I used to use last.fm too and that's pretty awesome :)
I have a fair bit of music, but I much prefer to just stream it (and feel ok because it's legal as well as not having to shell out tonnes on albums whenI'm just gonna bum it onto winamp and never use the cd again..) I doubt I'll really be using my ipod over the summer anyway cause I only used to really use it on the bus to and fro' college. Which iPod do you have? Have you named yours (or is that just me hehe.. 'Jenny's iPod' just seems far too banal!)?

Oohhh, my top one has to be 'Andare' by Ludovico Einaudi (his album Divenire can make me break down it's just.. amazing, in my opinion). Up there would also have to be 'Who Killed Mr Moonlight' and 'Bela Lugosi's Dead' (actually, alot of their songs.. I won't name them all xD) by Bauhaus, 'Love Will Tear Us Apart'- Joy Division (there's no way anybody can be unmoved by that song, surely..), 'Where is my mind' by the Pixies, 'Every You, Every Me' by Placebo and 'Leave Me Alone' by the Cruxshadows.. oh oh and 'Mutter' by Rammstein, the violins just kill me! and 'Alive' by Omnia :) Last one, I promise! ohh man, I've thought of more again! I'll stop, I swear! Ok, that was more than five, I'd think of one and then have to play it and then it'd remind me of another one haha :P what would yours be? I love that music can make you feel so much.. it freaks me out and I'm in awe whenever it happens to me..

Right, I've talked myself out, I think :P

Sorry to be annoying but I just noticed someone on etsy having a $1 closing down sale and they have some really cute papers that I thought might be useful for scrapbooking :)

I really did write a hell of a lot! I'm going to blame it on not being able to see how much you're writing because of the scrolly box :P
    Apologies!
