When I'm not reading, I'm ALWAYS writing--as I listen to Movits, lol. I bought their entire CD, and it's awesome. I write mostly Pirates of the Caribbean--Davy Jones and Cutler Beckett are my favorite characters, but Jack runs a close second!--and Star Wars. I'm currently in the middle of a Star Wars fanfic that's being published, and I've started another one that won't be published until it's completely done. Not to mention 3 others I'm working on, lol. I agree that David Balfour wasn't as interesting--I read it, and it was really good, but not on the level of Kidnapped. And I love meeting Treasure Island fans!! That was the first classic I ever read, and it's stuck with me all these years--I have a copy of it that's all beat up and worn from how many times I've read it! Silver is the best pirate ever. He's like Jack Sparrow and Davy Jones and Cutler Beckett rolled into one. The fights, and the island, and...just everything! I love it to pieces. :)
Hello! Thanks for requesting my friendship--you have a really interesting shelf. I haven't read Empire of the Stars yet, but I plan to. I saw that "Kon-tiki" book--the one where the guys try to cross the Atlantic in a wooden raft, like the Polynesians may have--and it looks really interesting. And I saw you read Kidnapped! How did you like it? I loved it, mainly for Alan Breck. He's an amusing partner for the more dour (and decidedly less interesting) David Balfour.
Oh good to hear that u liked my writing. So is there link to read your blogs?Anyways best of luck for your exams
Hi Revathi! good to see Ruskin Bond's books on your shelf; I still remember one his short stories which was about his one-sided romance with a girl in the railway station...
