Well, to be honest i took it as a work of fiction... the book itself and the events are all true according to him. Weather it was a halucination or a fabrication or the truth, for me, it is irrelevent....what the author choose to tell us...that for me is the truth...his perception of it ...That is...Does that make sence?...I think when I start to read a book a trust is formed with the storyteller ( be it an author a narrator...etc...)...and usually I follow on the path they lead us on.....for the sake of enjoyment and when the story ends we take the things that most apply to us and move on.
I did read it a while ago and the story is a bit vague...that is my disclaimer...lol...:)
