I, Wade, and my brother Walker are a couple of bibliophiles who endeavor to compile an extensive book collection. We collect both fiction and nonfiction as well as some reference books. We hope Shelfari will be a great community to partake in. Feel free to add us to your friends list.

    Dear Wade and Walker,

    Thank you for your friendship invitation. Forgive me for being so tardy in answering, but I had such qualms about casting a vote for Ronald Reagan. I'm sure if we stick to books we'll get along splendidly. I once visited your fair city, many years ago, when visiting an actor at the Shakespeare Festival. I can't say I remember much about the city, but I do remember the actor vividly. I do seem to recall a municipal zoo with a caged lion or two sitting around with forlorn expressions, and a nearly hairless monkey with advanced rectal itch. I wish you luck in amassing your collection.

    You can request changes to the book title or author name by clicking on the book cover or title (which takes you to the book page). On the book page you can click "Modify Title/Author" in the upper right-hand column. This opens up a page that allows you to submit your requested changes. As far as adding book covers, it's not possible yet. It's a feature we'll be making possible in the future.

    Hi Wade--Of course! At the bottom of each search results page is the option to "create a new book" if it isn't in our catalog. That link will take you here: http://www.shelfari.com/booknew.aspx where you will 1) add information about the book, 2) upload a cover on the second screen. That's it!
