  • The Ancient One

    The Ancient One says

Expect to have hope rekindled. Expect your prayers to be answered in wondrous ways. The dry seasons in life do not last. The spring rains will come again.

The world needs dreamers and the world needs doers. But above all, the world needs dreamers who do.

The authentic self is the soul made visible.

As we become curators of our own contentment on the Simple Abundance path... we learn to savor the small with a grateful heart.

Be grateful for the home you have, knowing that at this moment, all you have is all you need.

Each day offers us the gift of being a special occasion if we can simply learn that as well as giving, it is blessed to receive with grace and a grateful heart.

Faith is the very first thing you should pack in a hope chest.

Life is always movement, always change, always unforeseen circumstances. There will always be something to grab your attention.

Every time we remember to say "thank you," we experience nothing less than heaven on earth.

Learning to live in the present moment is part of the path of joy.

I think I will read em, I heard you talk about them quite a bit before it did seem like it would be a good read. I think after we move and get settled in I will have to read them. Keeping my fingers crossed on getting the house next week.

lol thats awesome! I didn't realize B&N was doing anything like that. Maybe I'll go grab a few after payday. Although, I shouldn't since we are trying to buy a house... but I gotta fill it with something, right?! OMG You're such a groupie!! lol I haven't started the anime, I did read the first manga and thought it was pretty good. Haha I think a long time ago I even found a pic of Gackt reading the series.

I thought it was fitting, after all he is a book freak himself... well for the one book but it still counts! The best book series that I've read lately is the City of Bones trilogy. It's had the most unique plot out of all the others I've read. A lot of the ones I've been finding remind me too much of Twilight or are full of the usual cliches. Another series that is good is the Darkest Powers series, the main character is a Necromancer. I thought you might be interested!

It was pretty good, it REALLY reminded me of The Twilight Series in some parts. For instance... she's saved by mysterious guy from a speeding car.. Hmm where have I read that before. The whole "touch" idea was kinda neat and there is supposed to be a second one coming out soon.

    How are the Nightmare Series?
