Becky- Excellent shelf. Some of my very favorites are there: The Time Traveler's Wife, Life of Pi, Never Let Me Go (I am a huge Ishiguro fan and i see The Remains of the Day is on your Plan To Read shelf and I suggest it highly. You seem to be drawn to romantic themes and that is one of the more powerful ones partly because instead of being an in-your-face love story, it works the romance as an undercurrent. it is understated that makes it even more powerful), Memoirs of a Geisha (another understated but powerful romance), and An American Tragedy. -John
