Hi Peggy! We've been friends for awhile now, so I want to invite you to see an amazing and authentic ghost photo that I snapped myself. I'm posting it just in time for Halloween! The more you gaze at the photo, the more ghosts you willl see! It's truly creepy! Check it out: http://devilsverse.wordpress.com
have i mentioned that I find the Idiot's Guide to the Book of Revelation to be a fascinating mythology?
nice.....I'll have to get to that one soon. right now i am involved with carving wood spirits. i got a "dremel". and i seem to spend alot of time mowing the lawn.
Hi Peggy. Just thought I'd check in on you and say Hi.
Hey I'm also planning on reading "the echo maker" ....I'm interested in the loss of identity..another one is call "the inhabited world' by David Long
How does this work?
OH, you need to read Mysteries by Knut Hamsun....one of my favorites EVER!
I see you read Crazy Horse and Custer, check out Blood and Thunder: An Epic of the American West. You know i've read just about all the doseteysky. or however you spell that crazy name...Demons is the only one left. I hope it can last all summer. I'll check out your shelf more when I am not at the toy factory. I can't handle "facebook" but as long as this is a book site it's okay, YAAH!
Yes, I read City of Glass. Forgot to note that one. I find that Auster's books tend to blend together in my mind, as if they're all part of the same melody. No, haven't read Omnivore's Dilemma. I'll have to check that out. Wasn't that the basis for the new movie Food, Inc.? Good choice in Olive Kitteridge. I loved that book. The writing is so great, poignant, spare. Enjoy!
Peggy, sorry for the slow response. I just got back from Tahoe. Yes, I have many great books on my Shelfari shelf, although I need to update it with more books I've written. I'm not sure how to friend you. Perhaps you know how to send me a friend request? THen you can see the books. I've just been posting books that I really like on this site. You guys must be really excited about the impending wedding. I just got word that I was accepted to the Squaw Valley Writer's Workshop in August. I'm hoping to rub shoulders with some agents and publishers, let alone other writers, to hopefully get my novel "Passage" sold. Best, Gene
