Try to keep reading if you can. You get used to the language, and it's a great book.

I love Doris Day too - have lots of her music. What a disappointment about the book then, eh? She is soooo beautiful. x
I haven't read this, but I've heard that "Memoirs of a Survivor" is very good. It's a little more sci-fi than some of her other books, but I've been told it's a good, interesting read. It's set in the future after a disaster.

Ahhh, you can always track me down. Was just reading your lovely card again the other day, thank you so much my little chickadee. I am coming back tomorrow - have still to go back to see the consultant a week on Thursday but better than I have done. Not coughing quite as much. All been a bit of a mystery? I even have wondered if I had - please don't laugh - swine flu???????? Ha ha - I know you are killing yourself laughing!! But you wonder alsorts, don't you? Love and kisses to you - always.
