I am a college graduate (Purdue University - Youth, Adult and Family Services) who works in a small public library. I am married and have two young children. Reading has always been just about my most favorite thing to do, especially when faced with the prospect of chores around the house (much to my wife's frustration)! I love a good picture... more »

Hey! I am very much enjoying 'Delirium'- it's such a surreal concept. I actually have read 'Before I Fall' by Oliver (I'm still sitting here trying to remember what books I've read in my life! Such a difficult task!) and I did enjoy the book as well. I've been trying to branch out and read more YA fiction since I was stuck on a track of classic literature for a long time.

    Hi,

If you like Koontz, Cussler, Crichton, Flynn...you might like Catch.

A woman abducted by a mysterious organization. A troubled man trying to outrun his past. A power so terrible it possesses the ability to rip away the very fabric of the universe itself...

    I hope you'll check it out : ))

“I highly recommend reading this book , a good novel with plenty of thrills and action” - Shelfari

"5.0 out of 5 stars Gripping; Pacey, 19 Aug 2011
By Ryan Spencer - See all my reviewsThis review is from: Catch (Kindle Edition)
An absorbing and riveting read from early on, and maintains pace throughout.
Special Forces soldiers at their best!
Downloaded and read on an iPhone, had to keep charging the phone as I couldn't put it down!" - Amazon

"There is never a dull moment in this story.
Bravo to Author Quirk for giving us complex characters to love and hate. As Catch and Hallie are pursued from all directions, their relationship as well as their characters develop. He puts the reader right into the settings and action with his very vivid descriptions. I for one, could not wait to turn the page(or in the case of a kindle - to press the next page button.) I didn't want it to end! The story is nicely tied up at the end, but leaves just that little bit to make the reader hope for a sequel, or maybe even a Catch Harris series." - Amazon

Hey, just browsing and I saw your bookshelf. Saw you have some Fablehaven there. I grew up with Brandon Mull; he actually helped me with a book of mine called Billy: Messenger of Powers, so it was nice to be able to read and enjoy his work so much! Anywho, cool shelf, thanks for letting me nose around!

Thanks so much for accepting my friend request. While I have you here, I was wondering . . . would you be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here (as well as on a few other book-related sites). I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like. Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:
