Read "Palace of Illusions". I loved the narration and the autobiographical view of the story. Also loved the fact that Dhristdyumna's (someone who remains in shadows in most of the other interpretations) character development was excellent.
Only felt that the love angle between Draupadi and Karna was a bit overdone from beginning to right till the end. But then may be it was meant to be a love story with plots and twists. Nonetheless, loved the new perspective.
Any suggestions for my next read?
Thanks for all the suggestions Rupa. I ain' too fascinated by the concept of vampires and werewolves so guess Twilight's not my kinda book but will check the others for sure. Hve read Girl who kicked the hornet's nest... it's good but not as good as the first two... nevertheless u can't skip reading it if u've read the first two... have reviewed it on my blog http://forumajmera.wordpress.com/
tht's cool... am reading girl who played with fire too... simply love Lisbeth's character... have seen the movie Twilight... didn't like it so didn't feel like picking up the book thoh it's a rage :-) but do keep suggesting some good books that you happen to come across... wish you a Happy Diwali...
