I live in Italy where English books are very expensive. I find most of my books through church book sales (but I'm not religious) where I can purchase books for a couple Euro. I'm a fan of thrillers, chick-lit and autobiographies.

Update: I received a Kindle in April 2010 and now I can read whatever I want! :)

it's disappointing when you hit 2 or 3 poor or disappointing books. Anne Patchett is supposed to be great though : )

Hi, I tried dirty blonde by Lisa scottoline, it was okay but not the greatest. Got to admit much prefer Linda Fairstein. What are you reading at the moment?

I have all of the Bennie and girls books; like some and love others! Bennie is so cool; I'd love to be more like her.
I loved The Stand; probably one of 2 or 3 of my favorite Kings. I really liked his earlier stuff (Christine; Cujo; etc) but he seemed to be mass producing books there for awhile and it was hit or miss with a really good one. However, when I read a really "heavy" book I do need to switch to a lighter one. I like Selma Eichler; Carole Douglas Nelson and a few others for that.
