I started reading since 4 years.During one of the lunch talks with our MD, he mentioned the importance of book reading and suggested us to read a book and that changed the course. I now know how much i missed all my earlier years without this habit.

    Hi Venu...The papers are full of Tendulkar completing 20 years of international cricket...Just imagine, he has been around longer than internet, cellphones and even cable TV in India....a real champion...Incidentally, only the 3rd player in history (and the first Indian) to play for FOUR DECADES 1980s/ 1990s / 2000s and 2010s (when he plays in 2010, that is)...I feel a lot of us just privileged to be around the same time. I wish, he writes his autobiography sometimes...although his modesty and discreetness might not make a great read !!!

    Hi Venu,

    Saw your collection of books...quite varied and interesting. It is not very common to find Kapil's "By God's Decree" now-a-days....
    The big tragedy is that the current crop of Indian cricketers, though fairly articulate in front of a live audience, have little interest in writing. The bigger tragedy is that guys who can actually write well have nothing much to tell, like Aakash Chopra...Let us be in touch..Cheers...Amit
