Hello Jeanne,
Nice image up there.
I hope that all the books you read are exciting and satisfy your thirst for adventure.
It’s so cold outside this morning; that wind is so strong. You have an interesting shelf.
Dracula: Hearts of Stone (Dracula is a good guy)
We start with a shiny new pot of boiling water and add too many evil vampires, and not enough of the good biters. Toss in one suicidal Dracula; add a cup of mayhem and a dash of romance. Stir in some red sheriffs. Oh yes, and a pinch of mirth. Stir lovingly and you have a novel by A. J. Gallant. If it sounds like the recipe for you then you must read Dracula: Hearts of Stone.
Please check out my author page for excerpts and other novels:

Unrealistic or not my writing gives me hope. But with something like 50 000 books published a month it is a little discouraging. I can just picture my books underneath that pile being crushed. I didn’t think there were that many writers.
It's by random invitation by Amazon. Write regular reviews on Amazon and they may invite you to join.
Sure. It's nice to meet you. :)
Sorry, late answering you. I just started submitting stories and poetry at age 17 to magazines (got three poems published when 17 in Hyacinths and Biscuits). Submited stories as Sapphire to romance publishers that did not need an agent and same for my other name, Pamela K. Kinney. Looking for an agent now though, for an urban fantasy under my Pamela name. On my nonfiction ghost books, my editor (head one now for Schiffer) posted at a group I am part of, asking for horror authors to submit book proposals for real ghost stories. I was accepted, wrote Haunted Richmond, Virginia, and the rest is history.
Do join a writer's critique group or get a critique partner. Your story, novel, even nonfiction, should be the best they should be when submitted to an editor or agwent.
Hi Jeanne . My start was pretty easy. I worked for a company that had a large department store. I rented space within that store and I sold books and did pretty well. I bought new and used and sold both. Then I expanded and opened and ebay store! I sold on ebay for over 12 years and did really well and developed a following. A good portion of my income has come from overseas sales and the internet. I sell now on the internet and so forth and sell from my home at this point .I will give you some advice though. I understand your dream of opening a book store and you should but do with caution if you do. It is very hard to make a living if you have to pay rent before making a profit. There are tons of used books store around me that went out as they can't afford the rent the only ones left are the ones who own the building and even those with the used books store sell there inventory on the internet too. The place to make any money selling books is through the internet these days and that is just my opinion.I did well on my own as I grew up here in a small Town and everybody new me and we had a resort only two miles away that brought the busniess to our plaza. Several of my friends stopped selling on ebay because they got tired with all the rules but if you want to give opening a store a try several of my book sellers have gone to this site its called bonanzle.com you can list all your items for free and they only take a small percentage as there fee only if and item is sold.At this site it is not overnight success you have to work at getting a following and it has taken my friends awhile to do so but they are pleased so far and are still there. There is another choice if you are are computer savvy you can open your own web store and use paypal for collecting payment. But at bonanzle they make it really really easy to list and there are no hidden fees. You can check them out and see what you think if interested.Hope some of this helps. Have a wonderful forth of July ! Jo
Hi. I love Dean Koontz novels. I especially liked The Island by Victoria Hislop. Another good book I read recently was Still Alice by Lisa Genova. I hope this helps. Tracey
Hi. It is very nice to meet you. I am going into my last year of nursing school, so almost done. Haven't decided what area I am going into yet. I read alot during the summer and wish for a book during school. But I know that if I pick up a book during that time then I would never graduate. I just keep saying "One more year" and I will be done. I have a shelf on my bedroom that has probably 200 or more books for me to read and then I also own a Kindle with tons on there for me to read also. I really need to update my shelf. It has been a while. Like I said it is really nice to meet you and feel free to write me anytime. I may be slow in returning the message but I will answer eventually. LOL
Hi. Thanks for the friend request. I haven't read Kristin Hannah, I'm going to have to check her out the next time I go to the libary.
