Hi Pat, Anthony Bourdain wrote a fiction story called 'Bone in the Throat'. I really enjoyed the book. You'll find a lot of his humor in this story. Joanne lent me a copy of 'Puttin on the Ritz' many years ago. It's wonderful, and very funny. The same goes for 'Blue Heaven' which is another of his books.
The Clapton song "wonderful tonight" was written about Patti Boyd. I think I still have an old 16 magazine back cover picture of her with the white lipstick! Puttin on the Ritz author went on to write the tv show Frasier. You will find a similar humor among those characters. As for Anthony Bourdain, I only read Kitchen Confidential, which I liked. I started on of the others and have on of his mysteries. He is a good writer. If you like his show, you will like his writing style.
Hi Pat,I see that you are might read Patti Boyd's book. I loved it! It was like a trip back to 1967. She had a pretty interesting life. I also loved Puttin on the Ritz - hilarious book! He has written 3 books with those characters.
