He wrote many, many books.
His newest is called Extra Credit and it is the one for older kids in my opinion.
All his other books have a similar plot:

Kid is doing something strange and unusual at school.
Finally people figure it out.
Gets in trouble.
But after that every thing is all right again.

Weekly Books to Discuss Newsletter:
It is the begining of a new week, and our group Books to Discuss has a new author.
Rick Riordan the author of The Lightning Theif Series is our chosen author.
Please read the beginning book this week or at least start it.
If you already have, please be patient, we will be discussing only the first book these two weeks.

After deciding with the administrator, Bo-Peep, that using notes to communicate about groups was more effective, we have decided to communicate in the form of a newsletter. Every so often, we will send you a newsletter by a note sent to your profile titled "Books to Discuss Newsletter" and we will send info this way. Please feel free to address questions to Bo-Peep or me and we will be happy to answer them.

We can choose:
a) Break from discussions
b) Continue Eva Ibbotson
c) Start a new author for two weeks.

Once upon a time info:
If you do not want to write but you signed up for this roup you will have to say what you think about other people's writing. If you do not want to say what you think about other people's writing, too bad, you have to. There is no alternative, and no exceptions. Also, if you sign up it would be more interesting if you get more people to join so tell about this group to all your friends. That would be very helpfull...Posted 3 years ago. ( send a note )

Books to discuss info:
School starts soon and we will have not as much time to write. Because of that, all of the Authors and Books will have at least two weeks of discssion time. This does not mean that we can slack off, but that we need to try harder to get time in. Please note the try harder... Half of the group has not even written a thing if this continues, I will have to start giving warnings. Also note that there are games, and games are not as hard to play as to dicuss books, and take less time...Posted 3 years ago. ( send a note )
