    Hi Lauren,

I thought I'd let you know why I rejected one book from your Robin Kane: The Mystery of the Phantom combine. While the title of the page stated the mystery of the phantom, on the edition page the books are actually The mystery of Glengary Castle. I declined that one, and have requested a change to the title to reflect what the editions actually are!

    Thanks

Cool i would love recommendation. i'm always willing to read something that is condidered good by someone who like the same stuff. And no i don't think she knows you can't ever read too many books. LoL but she thinks i read too much vampire stuff.. but my friends think i read too much too. buthat's probably because they don't read. Do people think you read too much or that you're normal? :)

    Hey!
Awesome, thank you for the suggestion! I'll be sure to check out that series. I love the sound of it! Fantasy/romance books are the best :) Thanks again, and merry christmas!

    Hi,

Thanks so much for all your work in helping to clean up the Shelfari catalog.

    Re your title change request:

    Requested Title:
The Sheik & The Princess in Waiting
    Series: Desert Rogues: Book 7
    Current Title:
The Sheik & The Princess in Waiting (Silhouette Special Edition No. 1606) (Silhouette Special Edition)
    Series: Desert Rogues: Book 7
    Edition Titles:
The Sheik & The Princess in Waiting (Desert Rogues, No. 7) (see cover)
The Prince and the Pregnant Princess (see cover)
The Prince and the Pregnant Princess (see cover)
The Sheik and the Princess in Waiting

You see that the other editions in this combined book are not what your new title would reflect. You need to separate the ones that don't match and then retitle as needed. I'm rejecting the title change request.

Do you know how to do that? Check the Librarians & Editors Group - there are several threads that have instructions for performing separation requests.

    Thanks,
    BC

Thank you for your comment. I reread this for the book of the month in the Bibliophile Club, and I elaborated on my review somewhat there. I was surprised that it did not get much discussion. This has been one of my biggest disappointments in Shelfari, that there is much less discussion than I expected.

    Hi LL,

I've just been working my way through the edit approval queues and came across your request to combine "Uncle Tom's Cabin" with the Norton Critical Guide of the same work. We're trying to keep 'critical guides' (and similar works that contain significant additional content) separated from the main works, therefore I've had to reject that request. However, I would just like to say **Thank You** for all the excellent editing you've been doing throughout the catalog!

You can find more information in the Editors & Librarian's group here: http://www.shelfari.com/groups/10713/discussions/155938/Guidelines-Separating-an-edition-that-doesnt-belong-to-a-book?showall=true#2967051 .
