I read just about anything.

During 2010, I completed a Science Fiction Reading Challenge in an effort to broaden my exposure to that particular genre by reading 35-40 SF books within a year.

This year, I will be participating in 2 separate challenges: 1) The A to Z Reading Challenge which requires that I read books by 26... more »

Hi Brenda, welcome to the I Love Reading Challenges group. If you have any questions we have an "I Have a Question" thread. Feel free to post any new reading challenges you find in the 2010 challenges thread. You may also start a discussion thread for it if you want. I am glad you joined and I am looking forward to reading with you.

I'm reading Rage of a Demon King in the Serpentwar Saga by Feist - how did you like it? I'm slowly acquiring all of the books in the Riftwar Cycle, and reading them a series at a time. Have you read more in the verse? Which series was your favorite?

I'm always looking to geek out about books with folks, and also looking for suggested series/authors. I grew up reading Koontz and King, and have since moved more into Fantasy, and some SciFi.

That is one genre that is closed to me-my wife reads romance so I have a variety of those laying around the house...I was just not up to the challenge despite her entreaties. I try to be open minded but I found my limit there LOL! But everything else is pretty much fair game. Tell me about this SF reading challenge, please.

It's Nov. 1st. . . good luck with your challenge! Don't forget to leave any books you've loved in the Suggestions thread (and add them to the group shelf) so others can benefit from your experience! :)

Welcome to the SF Reading Challenge! It's almost Nov. 1st, so if that was going to be your start date, don't forget to start your personal tracking thread in the discussions section of our group. Good reading!

Hi there! I'm just dropping by to welcome you to The 100+ Book Challenge. The idea of the group is pretty much self explanatory - try to read 100 or more books in a one year period. If you do have any questions, please feel free to send a message to me or Tenia. In the meantime, good luck reaching your goal!

Hi Brenda and welcome to the Bilbiophile Club group. Although our reading tastes are different, we do have one big interest in common. I'm also a quilter (25+ years), and make my living as a freelance editor for quilt publishers and authors. (In fact, I was editor of a few of the books I see on your shelf ;-) If you get a chance, check out my shelf. Books from my quilting library are mostly on my Owns shelf. You won't find all of my quilting books there, but I've already listed lots of them.
