Love to read Stephen King. The horror genre is my favorite [esp - vampires, werewolves, witches & ghosts]. Have recently begun to get into post-apocalyptic stories as well.

I joined a book club about 7 years ago to broaden my reading, now someone has convinced me to start a sci-fi reading challenge. Argh!!!! I wonder if I can make it. more »

Good luck on starting the SF Challenge! Remember, if you find a book you love, write a note in the Suggestions thread to let everyone else know what was so great about it and what categories it counts for. :)

Noticed you liked The Glass Castle, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also about a dysfunctional family (and also a bit dark). I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:

Welcome to 1001 books. You can keep track of the books you have read from the book, 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die here and join in the discussions on the books we are reading for the month (from the book) or you can argue the merits of the list as some enjoy doing. We hope you will want to join in our discussions. The current books are at the top of the list for that month. If there is any way I or Mossflower can answer your questions about the group or about Shelfari, let us know.
If you don’t own the book the list can be found http://www.listology.com/content_show.cfm?content_id=22845. A downloadable list of the second edition is available at http://johnandsheena.co.uk/books/?page_id=160.

Hi, and welcome to the Chiller group. Our group's been around for a while so there are a ton of threads. Hop on over to our introduction post. Tell the group hi and talk about some of your favorite horror authors or books. Feel free to start your own discussion posts and browse our growing group shelf.

Any questions at all just ask, same for suggestions or ideas.
