The Strange Case of Origami Yoda

“I would rate this book as "Ok". I can see where kids would like it, but given the primary audience, I didn't think some of the language was appropriate. Especially on pg. 74 where the author writes, "Man, I wanted some of those @!#&* Cheetos!!" I didn't find that necessary. Clever idea though of tying Star Wars and origami together though.”

Nightmare at the Book Fair

The Rumpelstiltskin Problem

“I am always looking for alternate versions of fairy tales to share with my students. This book was ok; some versions of the new Rumpelstiltskin were good while others were so so. The best part was the author's note at the beginning...that had me laughing out loud!”
