hmm.. i think u r right. the book is good. but i did not get any thrilling feeling after reading it. that is why i gave it 3 star n i could not relate to it in any way at all. i did not know about half the things it narrated.
who would say that they aren't selfish after redaing ayn rand. i myself m one of the most selfish person. i dont know if i would have felt bad if she had written more specifically because she didnt. wesse u went in the wrong field. u should have studied literature. :)
i think now that i have read atls shrugged i understand why you felt bad but do u think u would have felt bad had she said that about africans instead of indians??? isnt that feeling the result of our natinal pride rather than our logical reasoning?
it might *.. sorry i missed the 't' while typing
i still dont understand. if u can site an example where you thought that the author has gone to extreme n has abused indian culture.
i might be a coincidence but i think i would rather call it similarity of thoughts.. the author is also very frustrated by the state of ignorance, injustice and dishonesty prevalent in the world and your poems tell the same tale about you. though i might be wrong n you might have written them with some different thoughts in your minds. correct me if it is so.
n i must say that i am finding great similarity in your poem 'the beast of burden n in this book......
ok.. well i must admit that i m a book addict :)..but i m reading this one slowly.. i have had it for 2 months n still m no where near completion but i myself love it n it certainly is having a lot of impact on the way i think but i i would like to know the points on which u think indian culture is abused.. i will read it full n then we can discuss that ......
how did you liked altas shrugged?? i m also reading it.. read 380 pages by now...
i feel the same. some of her ideologies r hard to accept but it rather opens my mind to a new unexplored world. i will be reading that novel again n i wish to read atlas shrugged too. do tell me ur final opinion when u have finished it.
hey just saw that u r reading atlas shrugged. i have just finished reading fountainhead by the same author. do tell me how r u liking the book
why do u always write sad poetry??
i cannot find anything cheerful or hopeful in any of ur works?????
