Haha, I still haven't read the Hunger Games, but I will. It's hard reading depressing books...but they make you think, so I guess that's good....like that series in which the moon comes closer to the earth and everything is just ruined...The World We Live In is one of them I think...anyway, those books made me really think how important it is to have emergency food in storage, in case something were to happen that would shut down grocery stores, etc. Fun thoughts, huh? Annnnyway.....Meagan would be in 1st grade if she went to school....but I'm just working with her at her own pace. Some things she does are way ahead of 1st grade, but in other ways she'd probably be considered "behind" (whatever). Also, I'm going to enroll her in a little bit of stuff at Home Choice Academy (at the district office). Hopefully she can get into "Around the World" (cultures) and "Simple Machine Construction," which are things she really likes. If those are full her second choices are some sort of fun science class and Spanish.
I'll probably be subbing a couple days in November (the 2 days before Thanksgiving) in the classroom next to our old one (Mrs. Nuttelman's room) -- so I hope you can visit me!

Aw...that's sweet, Bethany. :)) It's been strange, knowing that my colleagues are back at meetings & will be teaching next week. However, Meagan and I have been having tons of fun together. If you and Lauren ever want to meet up for coffee or something, let me know.
