    Even though it has been a couple years, I will respond to your note asking me what I found disturbing about The Kite Runner. For starters the rape scene, the back stabbing of the rich boy, and then constant depressing disposition. I enjoyed A Thousand Splendid Suns much more and am excited for And the Mountains Echoed.
