I haven't read anything Faulknerish (is that a word?) lately. I have read some great books though. What is your favorite genre?
I am also a fan of Faulkner! I received an email about the book. I can't wait to read it. We will have to compare notes :) Thanks for friending me!
Have you read Every Day by the Sun? You are the only Shelfari member with this book, besides me! Just curious how it is.
Sam's shelf (30)Paul's shelf (373) haha
Paul if you can for browsing purposes you might like this one, "Signs and Symbols: An Illustrated guide to their origins and meanings." I just got this at the library, next time you are home you need to paruse it. look at it as in enyoy the browse. Putting on shelf now.
i love shelfari!
hey!!
ooo ok. hmm, well I really like Jonathan Safran Foer, "Extremely loud and Incredibly close" and my favorite, "Everything is Illuminated." I guess that's contemporary. I remember liking this book called "The sad truth about happiness," but I read it a long time ago. Paulo Coelho is always an easy read, do you read him? He's semi-contemporary I guess. I'm not sure if I'm the best person to ask, I usually just go look on the new fiction shelf at the library when I'm looking for contemporary! If I think of anything, I'll let you know.
hands down more addicting thank facebook
