Hi Robin,Oh my gosh, I loved Blindness which proves how twisted I am! I hope you like it too. Veeeerrry dark. I can't bring myself to watch the movie......
I am almost done with Kingsolver book. I love it, but it may not be for everyone. There is a lot of cultural expression (mexican) that might bore some people. After Trotsky dies I thought, well how is she going to play out the next 250 pages and she managed beautifully bringing the central character back to the U.S. during the McCarthy eara. If you like Kingsolvers style you will love this.
I take instruction well. You will also be glad to hear that I have been doing some of the Bridge reading. I have also been spreading the work about shelfari and maybe we can get a few more friends to sign up.
Thanks. I have to get used to this format and learn how to navigate the site. Since I've been back I've been catching up on things and haven't had a chance to do any reading. Hopefully, I can get more involved later. I'm sitting here remembering being on the water in Jamaica. Darn it's cold here! Jae
